The FORMUFIT 1" 5-Way Furniture Grade PVC Cross is a premium PVC fitting designed to connect five 1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipes. This allows you to create layered or base structures, like frames, by connecting the pipes at different planes. Made from high-quality Furniture Grade PVC, this 5-Way Cross is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Engineered resins ensure durability, as they are impact and UV-resistant and will not change color or become brittle when exposed to sunlight.

What PVC pipe will this 1" 5-Way Cross fit?
FORMUFIT 1" 5-Way PVC Cross Furniture Grade PVC Fittings fit over the end of standard 1" Size Schedule 40 plumbing-grade or Furniture Grade PVC pipe, which has an outside diameter of 1.315" or 1-5/16":
- Connects up to five (5) segments of 1" PVC pipe in a layered or base configuration.
- Pipe inserts inside of the fitting.
- Fits standard 1" Schedule 40 PVC pipe available from your home center or hardware store.
- Not compatible with CTS or CPVC style pipe, EMT conduit, or wooden dowels.

I used these to make giant tinker toys for my 7 y/o daughter. I used a different color for each different style of fitting so they are color coded. She loves it! It's just like the giant tinker toy set I had when I was a kid which you can't buy anymore. The pipes stick together pretty snug in these fitting but can be pulled apart pretty easy too. So far she has made a helicopter chair that she can sit on (but it doesn't actually fly), several forts (one which I can stand up in!) and some sort of Chinese jump rope court which I don't even understand lol

I used them once and stored them for two months outside during the winter and when I went to use them again I couldn't fit the pipes in; it's like the holes shrunk or melted. I'll have to buy new ones.
