Got it all installed (correctly) but the shift fork replacement was a little loose and jiggly in my case it did not fit snug onto the shaft provided tried the o.g. shaft and same wiggle...so that it would not shift into high gear or would grind/slip out under heavy acceleration. bought another set from what the hobby shop i shop at reccomended and it works like a charm...that one has brass shift fork insert and 3 prong instead of.this 4 prong...machining tolerance defect/problem? and no.shim kit with the gear set...but if it was made right to spec tolerances it would have fit like a glove like the other brand i got...all snuggly...even watched 3 online install videos to see if i got something wrong....not one of the install videos addressed a bad/wobbly shift fork. maybe i got the only bad one?

I put these gears in my fcx18 k10 and they work great. One thing to note though is that, because they are straight cut metal gears, it makes the truck quite a bit louder.

This was an upgrade to replace the plastic gears in the transmission with all metal, including the shift fork. Which I understand other kits do not have. Other that having a very hard time getting the circlip off for the shift fork replacement, all went well and it works perfectly.

I got these mostly for the metal shift fork and metal shift hub for my FMS FCX24 K5 Blazer that I upgraded with a Furitek brushless motor.. I mixed with Treal gears because I heard many reports that the FMS gears are not ground to exact specs and can bind. Because I used the FMS metal shift parts, I had to use the 2 FMS gears that mated to the shift hub because they had a unique 4 spline mating. The Treal gears had 3 splines and would not mate to the 4 spline FMS metal hub. That’s why the Treal gear set doesn’t come with the metal shift fork and hub, as they are designed to mate with the stock plastic unit. Which doesn’t make sense, as that plastic hub can fail just as easily as any plastic part, especially under the strain of a more powerful motor. I did use the Treal gears for the rest, and all was fine. If I used all the FMS gears, I might have been fine…I don’t know for sure.

These are the perfect replacement for the fragile plastic transmission. It took less than 1 month for the factory gears to strip out in low gear and must be the first thing to do before you order any other upgrades.They’re a little noisy but I rest assured knowing I can get into some tight spots without the worry of damaging the transmission. Remember to buy a small tube of white lithium grease to assemble

The gears went together well. No instructions provided but are easy to identify where they go if you pulled stock gears out and can remember what gear goes wear. It definitely added som sprung weight in high so keep that in mind. I didn’t swap the shift fork because the c clip is so tiny and this kit doesn’t come with one so if you loose it you have to order a new one. And when I say the c clip is tiny I mean 3mm diameter. But the plastic shift fork works fine with these. It’s a good upgrade if you’re upgrading the motor

After playing for awhile car Would'n't use three shift function turns out shift gears are too big other than that have had no other issues

When you're installing this kit, pay close attention to the orientation of the shift fork, the shaft, and the c clip that retains the fork. The fork is not symmetrical and should be installed the same way it came out.I've had zero issues, very happy with the upgrade.For lubrication, I used white synthetic grease with ptfe. These gears paired with the purple Injora motor are extremely quiet. For the most part, all you hear is the tires moving on the ground.My power wagon has brass outer portal covers, front OD gears, weighted wheels, and 64mm tires, running 3s batteries exclusively. The gears have withstood months of abuse with no issues so far.
