Have about 5 hours in on the top end and it’s all worked flawlessly so far! Easy to assemble and the parts were pretty close to OEM parts.

Fit my 2001 TTR125 just fine. Quality of the cylinder was great. The actual piston left a lot to be desired, quality wise. I’m use to using wiseco pistons, and this piston is definitely sub-par. On the bright side, it installed fine, and bike runs fine. I have yet to put any hours on the bike, so I can’t speak on how long it’ll last.

Took a chance on this kit based on reviews. For 50 bucks I got to replace piston and rings with the wrist pin and cylinder! I was worried about quality but not anymore. Installed this kit and then took my TTR 125 for a mini GP track weekend. I rode the snot out of it all weekend and it worked just fine! I am impressed. The entire kit cost less than a Yamaha piston… We will see how longevity goes… But it currently has about four hours of wide open throttle on it without issue!

I picked up a 2007 TTR125L for my son and it had been rode hard by a friend for many years. But for $450 it just needed a little love. Was super low on compression. I didn't feel like putting more into the motor than I paid for it and I came across this kit. I figured for $48 it was worth a try. I got the kit and everything was super good quality. None of the typical Chinese finish you see. All the machine marks looked great. If you was to sit it all beside the OEM stuff you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart. Everything was great as far as tolerances on piston and jug. Ring gap was dead center of spec. Everything went together with zero issues and bike fired up 2nd kick. Bike is much peppier now and runs great. Definitely worth the money.

Good fit .piston felt about the same weight as stock part.jug had good machine surfaces. And supplied gaskets were of good quality. I would recommend this

To start, This bike was dropped in a pond by my friends son and he didn't know what to do at the time. Not wanting to tell dad it went swimming, he told him it just locked up and just sat for 5+ years. One day we were talking about all the bikes we had and wish we still had, he showed me his ttr in the back of the shed. Whats wrong with it I asked and got the story. Why don't I take it home and see if can be repaired. Got it home and pulled the plug full of flaky rust and thought this will be expensive $$$. So total tear down started, Valves looked like crap, couldn't even see the top of the piston for the pile of rust so after a good soak with some blaster I managed to beat the piston out and the cylinder was toast. Time to report the bad news. It was looking like a $350+ with a big bore kit and the tuning problems that follow. But I saw this kit on amazon for "$40 bucks???" Well I thought it might be worth a shot for that price and I did reuse the valves after cleaning and a good lap job and pocket porting. The head was in good shape. Did split the case and found some minor surface rust on the crank but the bearings where all good. So after a good cleaning and prelube it went back together.Didn't know what to expect, but for $40 bucks US. What could go wrong? Anyway it's been 3 months of off and on riding and nothing bad to report.Oh, one thing... the new cylinder was very dirty and I washed it out with Dawn dish soap and water then a light oil coating before assembling. I can say one thing, every engine I've ever built had the bore's washed out with dish soap and the engines never smoked.Mike,

Included everything to do the top end of a ttr 125. Everything measured great and looked as good as factory components. Maybe 10 hrs on the bike after rebuild using this kit and works awesome. I would recommend getting the ring gap orientation from a service manual as instructions for that part are not included. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone rebuilding there ttr125.
