You have to raise the head portion completely up before the legs are raised. If with the legs fully raised, it is only an inch or so, offering almost zero levitation. With only having the head raise, you slide downward. The options pictured in the description are misleading and not possible with this frame. I would not recommend!

I was hesitant to buy the adjustable base because there were know reviews. I took a chance because the price was reasonable for the 2 split king adjustable and I could get it in a timely manner. Once they arrived it was simple to put together and works just fine. Does what I need it to do which is allow me to sit up in bed when I need to and adjust as needed for comfort. The noise level is very low and the height for my husband I was a little too low for us but we're used to our bed being high which was a easy fix. We just added height adjusters and put the adjustable base on those to get it to the height we preferred. Overall I highly recommend.

Easy to put together, but wish I could control the head a feet separately so I can have feet up without my head being all the way up
