This case is not water tight and leaks water inside if its out in the bed of your truck. I didn’t notice it when I purchased it and used it now I can’t return it. But there’s a gap right at where the carring handle…

Bought this knowing it was thin, but boy is it thin. My calipers put it at 5/64" thick. They weren't joking. The top is wobbly even when you open it. The egg carton foam is not dense. It's very soft. It's not glued in, but some headliner/spray adhesive fixed that in seconds. Make sure you get the foam exactly in place though before it touches the plastic or it is stuck. No do overs with that stuff. The case is made in the USA, but well...I bought it for my daughter's 4H BB gun. It'll do the job, but it's a case for an old gun like an old single shot shot gun or .22. It's not to keep your pride and joy in for sure. The gun supports the case more than the case supporting the gun. It'll keep your gun from getting dinged from regular handling. But I wouldn't drop it with a gun in it more than about about knee high "accidentally". It's light for my daughter so it won't be banging around. The really nice thing about it is the buckles snap closed smoothly. It does have 4 lock holes, which you'd need...and then some to make it even remotely secure. IF the case was twice as thick and the foam was glued in and was about a 1/3 denser, this would be a home run. As of now, well, it's barely a bunt to first base.

This was the cheapest plastic case that I could find for my shotgun. It's basic, cheap but good. Does the job.

I bought one of these for my Mossberg 702 Plinkster mounted with a BSA red dot scope. It fits perfectly and is great for carrying to the range. The shell is a good strong plastic with solid latches to hold it closed and can be locked (important when you have little kids around the house like me). The interior foam padding is good but is not adhered to the shell so it falls out of the top sometimes when opened. Small flaw but something I can live with and easy to fix if it is really an issue. I was so happy with the original case I measured the dimensions and bought a second one for my Mossberg 12 GA pump action shotgun, which fits very well!

I bought this case because we were going on a trip and I needed to be able to secure a rifle in a locking case while we were travelling. It's lightweight, has decent padding, locks up well and has enough room for a lengthy rifle, scoped or not. With regard to length, I was able to fit a full length Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a little room to spare. It does come with egg crate type foam padding, though it's not particularly thick - but it's thick enough to protect your gun. This is not what I would consider a heavy duty or tough-sided case - you could squash it if you stood on it. But if you want more protection than would be afforded by a soft case, without spending a mint, this should do you just fine.Now, note that this travel did not include flying - and I'm not sure I would or could recommend this case for flying. I'm not even sure it's rated for that. It's strong enough to provide protection for everyday use, but handling by airlines and TSA?? Probably won't hold up to that kind of rough handling, at least for long.For an inexpensive case, I'm pleased and expect to get some use out of this for a while

Fantastic case on for an affordable price. This is not a high end case but great for point to point transporting of a firearms safely. Comes with little loops for padlocks. Would be easy to break into if someone applied effort. But the purpose of this case is to protect your firearm for storage, which it will do well. I have purchased two of these cases and would not hesitate to do so again.

This is a really great case for the money. Overall the value is excellent. It's actually a bit bigger than I expected. In fact a bit bigger than I need, but I shouldve looked closer at the dimensions. This likely won't fit in the trunk of your car unless you have a large trunk (Town Car, Pick-Up or SUV).It's lightweight and the plastic is sturdy. It doesn't bend like other flimsy cases. The eggcrate material needs some sort of edhesive to make it stick to the case.Overall, if you need a larger case and don't want to spend a ton of money, this is really a great value.
