This quickly lost its cleaning ability. Maybe it is just how dirty our cars are, but we were expecting to use this for more than a month.

This “blob” is great for cleaning those areas in your car which aren’t very accessible. I’ve found it to be particularly useful for removing crumbs, etc., that find their way into cup holders. It picks up small bits of material from any surface or crevice.

Vacuuming will git most loose debris but where this really help is that it makes physical contact with the dirt and pushes and pulls it to loosen its hold. It is not cleanable so once it fills with dirt it just goes in the trash. I won't lower the rating for that because it is mentioned but be aware that it is not a one time purchase.

It does the trick to a degree. It picked up very fine dust, but required a few passes to pick up some larger debris. This stuff works well. Sticks well together so you don't lose bits when you stick it places. Smells nice. I'm more of a traditional person in the way I clean my car so will probably stick with vacuum and other tools, but this is good for tight areas.

I appreciated that I could tear off some of the gel and use a little at a time instead of wasting the whole gel bottle on one go. I tried this on a few different surfaces in my car and I never noticed it sticking to any of the surfaces I tried, nor did I notice any sort of wet or oily residue left behind. I tried it on my car door, center console, cup holders, the gear shifter, the dashboard, and behind the steering wheel. It seemed as though this gel worked well on picking up small bits and pieces, but maybe not as well over a surface with dust. I'm not sure if it's because the particles are smaller, but when it came to dust, I noticed I had to dab over that area more than once in order to collect all of the dust. It picked up some of the dust the first time I pressed the gel on it, and then picked up the rest of the dust the second time I pressed down. So it still ended up cleaning the surface, just took more than one go.I did end up leaving this gel in my glove compartment as an easy way to be able to pick up any crumbs or particles. The outdoor temperature has ranged from 40s-70s over the last month and it doesn't seem to have effected the gel's consistency.

I like to keep the interior of my cars free of dust and crumbs. This is a great product for cleaning hard surfaces that can accumulate crumbs, dust, and grime -- think of cup holder for instance. It works great on surfaces that are not just flat (which can be easily wiped with a microfiber towel), but have some complexity to them -- things like heating vents, buttons on radio console, cup holders, center console, etc. When I clean my interior, I bring a microfiber towel, a soft brush, and this sticky goo. The all work best and most efficiently on different areas -- each has its strengths. With the combination of all three, I end up with a very clean interior that I find very rewarding.
