This product is terrible! Do not waste your money. The app connects to the scale fine but it refuses to complete the process. Once you step on the scale, it gets your weight, measures a couple metrics and then makes a couple calculations. It almost gets there.. (I say almost because maybe 1 time out of 50 attempts it will finish and complete) it gets stuck at calculating body type (the last step). It just spins and spins. It won’t record anything until this is done. I’ve tried everything: feet dry, feet wet, stand there and wait (standing on the scale for 20 mins), close the app and restart like 50 times, restart my phone, remove the scale and re-add, removed the app and reinstalled, put in new batteries, all to the same outcome… 1 successful weight record to what seems like 100 attempts. Takes almost an hour. Ridiculous!!! I’m going back to my old scale and pen and paper. Not worth it… steer clear. I wanted to give it a try and waited too long to return.

This product is so awesome that I often hate it because it makes me depressed and causes me to cry.It's like going to the doctor's office and being told the truth no matter how it makes you feel. It breaks down what is going on with your body and gives you specifics to work on. The problem with this product is me. I do love how it lets you know about your health without lying. It told me that my body is 16 years older than what I am. If you don't want to know the truth about your health, don't bother purchasing this product. It's a Great product and everyone should have one in their home.

This scale gives a different weight by the minute. It’s within 2-4 lbs of one another, but different during the same weight in, nonetheless. My biggest issue is the app they make you download to track progress. After about a year, it stopped syncing, and stopped recording anything but the somewhat accurate weight. It doesn’t measure bmi, muscle mass, water or anything any more, and if you check the reviews in the App Store for the Hume app, you’ll see what I mean. Save yourself the time and money, and buy another scale that works.

I bought this scale so I can track my weight loss. I love how it records everything. I can see all the info in the scales app that I installed in my iPhone. My other scale just told me my weight. This scale tells my my weight but it is also recoded in the app. The info is also available to one of my other apps, MyNetDiary, that I use to record my food intake. All and all just another tool in my arsenal to help with my weight loss.

Very good product, a really useful way to track aspects of bmi, body muscle and bone health, body fat etc. For accuracy use directly on non-carpeted flooring. App that connects to scale very easy to navigate/use. Scale takes 4 AAA batteries and connects to app via bluetooth.

This scale was recommended but without the app you can only use it as a visitor (in the app) but the moment you step off the scale all data is lost and registration or login doe snot work and gives server issues. So completely worthless, DO NOT BUY

A few years back I lost 90lbs using a Fitbit smart scale and dieting well. I loved competing with my own stats. I eventually plateaued and gained about 40lbs back. I’ve been wanting to lose that weight again and wanted something to really give me some hard stats. This thing measures so much and you can see even the tiniest daily gains in protein, muscle, hydration, weight, fat contents. Wildly detailed and great at immersing you in the grind for gains. I’ve shared some of my current screen grabs so you can see what it’s measuring and how it looks. Not stats I’m proud of, but you can see progress made in the last two weeks has already started showing good improvement.The scale itself is small, which is great because I bring with me to my fiancé’s house so she can watch her own stats as well. It’s very lightweight. The scale itself doesn’t give you information, it just feeds right into the app.So the app itself has to be reviewed as part of this, since it’s essential. You download and sign up for free. It’s not the same app as the FitTrack watch uses, which is weird to me. I’ve had no issues with stability of the app or with the Bluetooth connection for the scale. You can see the app can track progress by day, week, month, and year and show you charts of the movement. Each individual stat is trackable with its own chart.Bottom line, the tech is mind blowing. If you want motivation look at the bad stats it can give you. It rated my metabolic age 7 years older than I am. I’m not going to stop pushing till it’s 7 years younger than my age.Amazing buy.

This is definitely nice to have if you can afford to pay a little more for a fancy scale. It’s stylish and works perfectly for simply telling you your weight. As far as all the other measurements, it’s a mixed bag. Thing like BMI and Body Fat percentage are useful to know and seem to move up and down appropriately. Other things, however, never seem to move at all and I wonder if they are actually even being measured. My body water never changes for instance, even after a long run. Other things like Bone Mass and a Weight Without Fat are neat to know once, but then are never really relevant again. Honestly after a few months I really only look at my weight and body fat percentage. One thing I do like is that if you take your weight several times in the same day, it’s gives you the average on your history weight chart. Overall happy with my purchase
