I am using the rest of the parts for a saw refresh but the Carb quality is horrible. The Set screws were not set right. Pressure test failed out the gate so I opened it and discovered the needle height was way over spec. I hooked it up to the sa after fixing the issues and retightening the screws. I could only get it to start once without air filter. The L set screw could not find the sweet spot after hours of trying to fix this. Do yourself a favor and just buy the real deal ... Or you could buy 4 of these and hopefully one will work.

I have an older Stihl 026 that has been running erratically. It was hard to keep it running, and it was sluggish when I accelerated. I decided to try this tune up kit. At first, I replaced the plug, fuel filter, and air filter. I still had no results. I didn't replace the carburetor because I'm lazy, but I had nothing to lose. I installed the new carburetor, did NOT change any settings, and my chainsaw started right away. And it now runs almost like new. This was a great investment, saved me a service fee, and the cost of a new saw. Very impressed.

Spent almost 1/2 day working on this Sthil 026 Chainsaw. The new Carb was as advertised and was a perfect match to replace the WT 194 carb.Where the issues came in was installing the gas line/filter. The gas line was twice the overall length of the factory line. but I thought it still might work, and just sit lower in the tank. Finally figured out that the part that connects to the carb was also way too long and the quality of the tube was horrible. After and hour of tracing back full system and thinking it was the carb, it turned out to be a pinched fuel line that collapsed due to the very thin walls. Everytime it drew fuel, it was light drinking a shake with a paper straw.The Airfilter is not as advertised. does not fit the 026. Probably fits the M26. Toss it in the can with the fuel line and fuel filter.Ps.. the spark plug was correct and does seem to work.. but not sure how long it will last.So, if you just want a replacement carb.. it is a good buy and works..

Actually worked great. Some of the parts didn't match up perfectly with what I was replacing but if your rebuilding a carb you should be able to work around that.
