This fire screen was easy to assemble and fits really well over my fire pit. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to prevent stray sparks from leaving their fire pit!

Putting this together is no picnic, especially with the included hex key, as I did. At least it had one ball-end which was pretty much vital for this.After assembly, I had to do a little aggressive bending to get it to sit flat on the fire bowl, but the final product looks great. It's quite an upgrade from what came with our little fire bowl and the folding poker/handle lifter is a nice addition. I'm assuming this is just plain steel under the finish so it will probably start to look rusty after a few uses. It's to be expected of most metal things exposed to intense heat. I will update if we run into any problems after the first few uses!

This screen is easy to assemble it comes in 4 pieces with screws and a hex wrench. It fits a burn barrel with some modifications or little tabs to keep it from falling in. This looks nice, though I know it will rust as soon as the flames touch it. It's a decent value for something that will last many years. The metal screen is thick about 1/8 inch or close to it on the wire diamonds. You can't bend them they are ridged and not thin. It keeps large embers from getting through and still allows heat and flames to burn the wood inside. I'm happy and have no complaints, it's made of good quality materials.

I thought this was heavy but surprisingly it is very light. Even it is light, it is light it feels solid. They made it light so you can lift it up easily with the built in hook on top without getting burn.You do need to put it together. There is a paper with instructions and they give you all the tools needed. It is a very simple process, really it is only 12 screws and one on top for the hook. Took me about 15 minutes to build.Although this is for an outdoor fireplace this fits on top 22" Weber grill as well.
