I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I’m using it for a solo fire pit. It is very adorable and has held up well so far. The only downside is that shipping took an extremely long time.

we purchased this off brand or generic cover and it fits perfectly. You do have to put together, but it did not take but a minute or two.

I picked this screen up for the Solo Yukon. It fits great and I don't have to worry about embers flying out.

This is a nice-looking stainless-steel fire pit ember screen. By all appearances, it is well-engineered, and has a weighty heft which suggests quality construction. Assembly was straightforward and not difficult.Unfortunately, the screen's circumference is not compatible with the dimensions of my previous-generation Solo Yukon 1.0 stove. It is just barely too large to seat inside the stove's raised lip, but just barely too small to fit outside it. I have done some research, and Google reveals that the Yukon model's diameter shrunk by 3 inches between generations 1.0 and 2.0, which would explain the challenge I have encountered. (If that's true, the dimensions indicated on the Costco website, where I recently purchased my stove, are incorrect.)So just be sure your Solo Yukon stove is the 27-inch-diameter newer model, and you should be fine. This is a quality product, which I am happy to recommend—so long as it fits your fire pit.

I didn't notice the assembly required notes in the product description when I ordered this. And even if I had, I would not have imagined how difficult it was to assemble. I was headed out to burn when I decided it would be a good time to review this product. Assembly took so long that I didn't get any burning done. The reason is poor engineering and low-quality manufacturing. The parts aren't "square". So they don't align properly when put next to each other, as seen in the pictures with this review. I found it helpful to use a clamp to align the pieces during assembly.Then, there's the tool provided. And the location of the screws. I found the screws difficult to install, and the tool provided was not necessarily helpful either. The tool catches on the screen, forcing you to use the tool at an angle. The ball on the tool isn't great, so it takes more time and effort to assemble than it should.The folding handles for handling the screen when it is hot arrived scratched. I don't care that they are scratched, as they will get these scratches upon first use anyway. However, it shows how little care was given to manufacturing and packaging. And that lack of care is evident throughout the product.Lastly, the product is not round. It's not easy to see in the image, but there is a gap on the close side of the image and no gap on either side. Again, just poor craftsmanship.The bottom line is that if I had paid for this, I'd feel like I paid too much. When I was assembling this, I planned on giving it a one-star review due to the difficulty of assembly. But I changed my mind. Despite the high price, it does what it says it does. You can turn it upside down to store it inside the top of your Solo Bonfire, and while it does make the stove a bit taller, it still fits inside the storage bag.
