The microphone sounds really good for the price so I bought a second one when it was on sale (even better value) on Amazon Australia. As many reviewers mentioned, it's a bit heavy on low frequencies, which actually flatters the voice of amateur karaoke singers. I used it on a Klipsch GIG XXL, a JBL Partybox 310, as well as on other cheap karaoke machines. The bass indeed sounds ever so slightly heavier on the Klipsch, but only noticeable if you compare it to other good microphones. However, the overall sound is absolutely amazing on the JBL. Other cheap speakers just don't sound good no matter how. I dare say the sound of Fifine K6 is better appreciated on a good karaoke box. Highly recommended for aspiring singers.

It’s cheap and you’ll be like me spending $100 to get quality. I’d recommend to skip “trying this one out” because one night of using it when it starts popping will leave you frustrated and wishing you spent the money for quality. Go get the Shure SM58 Pro XLR Dynamic Microphone and you know you’re getting quality. This mic seems like the cable is loose…. That’s the best way to explain the pop sounds it makes. But wiggling the plug doesn’t consistently make it pop. So nothing I can see to repair it or adjust the fit to get rid of the horrible noises it makes (besides my voice and it’s horrible noise -haha).

We bought this for karaoke parties and I would 100% buy it again. The mic is sturdy (if not a bit heavy) and the cable feels primo. I like that I can detach it and swap for a longer one, if need be. The on/off switch is made of chintzy plastic and has a bit of play to it - if anything ever breaks, it'll be the switch...but regardless, the mic on the whole feels very sturdy so may not ever be an issue. In my opinion, it sounds good enough to use for professional needs, like DJ and MC, possibly podcasting with the right mixer and sound engineer. The pickups are excellent, even from the sides (though they are noticeably quieter than speaking directly into the top of the mic) and do a good job filtering out background noise.10/10, would mic again.

Não entendo de microfones, mas comprei para minha esposa brincar de karaoke e o som dele é bem interessante. A construção é sólida, todo de metal, com cabo grosso, aparentando ser boa qualidade.

I bought this to record late-night vocal ideas on the looper of my MPC Live, to have a decent knockaround mic that didn’t need a 1/4” adapter. Just finished the first test run and the mic works well. No hums, no hiss, and the reproduction was recognizable—it sounded like my voice, not unusually harsh or thin. Did not transmit handholding noises, so all good there. Obviously for this price you are not getting a studio-quality recording mic, but that’s not the point. This mic is very usable, nothing nasty in the sound, and it feels solid. They give you a decent XLR-to-1/4” cable too.* Remember this is a dynamic mic—if you are not using a mixer, preamp, or mic input on an interface, expect to crank up the volume. I had to max the mpc live recording volume but this was quiet late-night singing, so that’s to be expected. The mic sounded good enough, once it had plenty of gain. Of course also play with how close to put your mouth to the mic.* If you are getting no sound—make sure the “on-off” switch on the mic is turned on! ON is toward the “head” of the mic, OFF is toward the cable.Good deal, if this holds up (which it feels like it will), I will be very satisfied.
