The filters themselves seem to be of high quality. Unfortunately, I learned after delivery and trying to put the Hepa filter in my Shark NV482 that somewhere around 2013 Shark redesigned their NV 48+ line to use a larger Hepa filter, BUT did NOT change the model number for some strange reason. Thus, the Hepa filter this merchant is selling does apparently fit the newer models, but not mine. I strongly suggest you measure the Hepa filter in your Shark NV48+ before ordering to see if the height is 2.36 or 2.75 inches. Four stars because the seller should have made the two-size issue more clear. I learned all this after receiving my order which didn't fit, and then finding this information on the listing of other vendors. It does say 'tall size', but I didn't know why that was relevant before I ordered.

Totally improved the sucking power and so pleased with the filter. I live in an attic of an old brown stone & it’s dusty and with my furry friends I like to alternate the filters and it was quite a bargain!!! The serial number look up on the shark website was very helpful in making sure I didn’t purchase the wrong item.
