Product should be rolled for shipping as it would hold it's shape better for final placement in humidifier and would also require smaller shipping cartons.

I've tried a variety of filters for one of my AirCare whole house himidifiers and these seem to work the best. I have a problem with a lot of filters where they don't effectively absorb water and so it takes forever for the humidifier to work, if it works at all. I've also had a lot of issues with filters not lasting more than a week or two. These Fette Filters have been the best yet. I live in an area with hard water so the longevity of my filters are cut by almost half of what the humidifier is programmed to remind you. Basically I have to change the filters every two weeks.In the winter I have to change these every two weeks and in the spring and summer they'll last a month. I've found that these absorb water very well and allow the humidifier get the ambient humidity up to around 50% or greater pretty quickly. They hold up pretty well with the minerals I have in the water near me and they fit the humidifier perfectly. I've found these are nice and thick and spongy while others I've tried were quite thin or didn't have much material inside them in comparison which is why I think these work so much better than others.I have these on Subscribe and Save because they're the best ones I've found and keeping the humidity level of a few of my rooms up near 50% (or at least mid-30s in the winter) is very important as I have a home studio with quite a few guitars that need a nice stable environment in terms of temperature and humidity.

The wicking filter works well, but it tends to lose its wicking capacity a little quicker than hoped. However, our water is extremely hard so the filter may not be completely at fault.
