Thank GOD for the plastic they make that go over the screen as a screen-protector.. it saved my product from a few early scratches that could have been worse.. all in all, great bright screen’ even without a sun hood in the brightest of days’ in mid-day brightness over-head’ i was able to see it.Now the only flaw is,, i wish this product came with sd card slot like some of the earlier cheaper ones so you can set your own luts possibly

Bought this as my first field monitor. Was very impressed by the build quality and feel. Took it with me on my first paid videography job that required a monitor. Found that the monitor constantly disconnects and goes to the blue screen. This pauses my recording and I have to wait for it to reconnect. I have tried multiple HDMI cables and ran into the same issue. If I use this while shooting handheld it’s very minimal. If I’m using my gimbal it happens everyone 30sec or so. This makes it completely unusable in this situation. I attempted to reach out to CS but did not receive a timely response and by the time I did it was outside the return window.

I bought this to use with my new mirrorless camera, and I was surprised -- the last time I bought a field monitor was in the early 2010s, and man have screens come a long way. This screen indeed gets very bright, and you don't need to use a hood outdoors. However it will also burn through battery at full brightness, so I like to keep it at 30-50% brightness. The menu is easy to navigate by touch or buttons, and the build quality feels solid, especially for the price. the mini hood is the perfect size for most usage, but it has a larger fold out hood that I haven't found the need to use yet. It is easily powered by a battery bank through the USB-C port. Overall I'm amazed that you can get a monitor like this for

No hdmi cords that fit my camera. Absolutely NO customer service. Tried 4 times to reach them. Never a return call or email. Finally got a reply. Told me the cord was in the box. Who are these people?

When I tested this it all work great right up until I was shooting an event. At first it decided not to turn on, once I managed to get it on it only showed a tiny bit in the top corner. After this I reset it then unplugged and plugged it back in then it came up with no display and just showed the focus assist outlines. It took around 5 attempts for it to finally work the way it should

2024/03に購入。接続テストでは正常に映像が出力できた。しばらく使う機会がなく10月に接続したところ映像が出力されない。今頃になって正常に作動しないとは！初期不良か！何か設定を変更しようにもメニュー画面も何も出力されない。本体のパイロットランプが赤から緑に変わるだけです。追記 メーカー対応となり、交換することとなりました。後ほどレビューを更新します追記 20日間ほどかかりましたが、交換の商品が届きました。接続テストを行い正常に動作しました。メーカーの対応は良好でした。

I have been testing this monitor for the past few weeks and so far, I'm very happy with it. It has all the features that I consider important for monitoring my footage. The brightness (great for outdoor) and definition of the screen are great, and it's very easy to configure the monitor, especially with the touchscreen option in addition to the buttons. I also like that it includes three customizable shortcut buttons. The build quality is good; it's a bit lightweight, but I think this is a positive thing, as it means less weight to carry around when I'm on the go shooting.However, I encountered a major issue with this monitor when using it with my Canon EOS R. When the battery on the monitor dies, it automatically shuts down the recording on the camera. This can get you into trouble if you're not constantly monitoring your shoot or if you're shooting a live event.Apart from that major flaw, I have to say that if you're constantly monitoring your monitor or if it's connected to an external power source, you should be fine.

I wasn't too sure about this, since it seems to be marketed for photography/ videography camera use. I took a chance with it since it's still a useful display and I was not disappointed with the performance in full daylight in the AM hours to capture and view the moon, and some other remaining bright planets as the sun rises. This helps to preserve your vision without looking directly at the sky with your eyes. The astronomy cameras hooked up to my telescopes and mini computers were fully compatible with the HDMI ports. The touchscreen display and controls were easy to see and use in full day light with the provided velcro shade. One small nitpick are the full sized HDMI ports, which make cable management a pain for some stiff cables while sitting on the telescope tripod legs. The menu takes a bit to figure out and there are no instructions included in the field monitor kit, so you'll have to download and save it for reference if you're out at a remote location. I have this hooked up to a small portable solar charged "generator" that is tied in with my mini-PC and telescope and will run for 6+ hours. The basic accessory kit includes a very useful mount with a cold shoe mount on the arm and 1/4-20 screw threads in 4 other positions. The ability to power this monitor several ways is great and I've used both the Type-C and 5.5mm 12v barrel that my astronomy equipment typically uses. The battery also seems to be passively charged ONLY when the type C is connected to the battery while it is being used (the wattage indicator shows 11 watts of power consumption while charging) to power the monitor. The 5.5mm 12V barrel plug doesn't provide any charging ability, nor does the Type-C port on the bottom of the monitor.
