The grooves are slightly smaller than the pegs because they are meant to be pounded into the grooves with a rubber mallet to make it tight. It does not come with instructions so I think most people would just assume that it doesn’t fit. It does fit, you need the right tool for the job!!! Use the mallet to gently but firmly pound the pegs into the grove the side with the holes for the brace are to go on the flat side not the cut out side. Then install the side support on the flat side and set with screws. Second photo is close up with the rubber mallet next to the groove. Took less than 2 minutes to put together. And seems to do the job as far as toileting is concerned.

I am using it in an alternative way since it was so attractive and a perfect holder for a bowl I set in it's curved cut out so I could use it to keep bottles of water by my bed in an attractive way - previously I was just keeping them in a bowl under the bed as I need to have water handy at all times and this made a much more attractive way to do it.

I bought this because well I needed it lol but I have a higher up toilet, if you have a lower average height one this might be too tall, I tried it in my guest bath and my knees were in my face just about. But in my master bath with the higher up toilet it works wonderfully and looks great when pushed up to the toilet, almost like part of the decor. It has held up great, comfortable and fits great. Putting it together was also easy, and the little bunny phone stand was weird but cute lol

I am so happy with this item. It's good and sturdy, easy to put together and I especially love that it's decorative. The material it's made out of is very easy to clean. One thing to keep in mind if buying any squatty potty product is the height!! If you have a standard toilet, order a 7" stool, but if you have a "comfort height" toilet, a 9" would be better.

The description calls this a wood-plastic composite, but it is essentially no more than styrofoam. It is moderately difficult to put together, not because it's complex, but because it is so flimsy that inserting the pieces into one another risks breaking them altogether.All of the above said, since I purchased it, I am now using it. It does look nicer than other squatty potty type stools I've seen around, but it is incredibly frustrating that it's so poorly made. I had purchased it intending for my daughter to also be able to use it as a stool to stand on to wash her hands, but it's too flimsy for that.

I originally purchased this because I have Crohn's and this was the most beautiful variation I had seen for a toilet stool. My partner doesn't have Crohn's, but they love to use it when they need to. It is easy to assemble and take apart. It comes with screws, but in the couple of months I've had it, I've never needed them. The pieces fit perfectly together and I like having the option of pulling it apart and easily storing it on a shelf when we have company over. Most of the time I leave it set up beside my toilet because it is so cute and I have recommended it to others about great it is to have one. It is super easy to clean, works great, stores well when needed and is a beautiful addition to our bathroom. I would buy another if I had a second bathroom, but it is easy to pack up and take with you when you travel.

到着した時から足が折れていた箱はしっかりしていたので、運送によるものではないとみえる出荷時、箱詰めで折れたのではないか逆に言えば、材質的にも簡単に折れる

The stool is really cute and pretty tasty to assemble. It did come chipped (one of the tabs was broken), but it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return, so I just used wood glue and assembled it. The broken piece didn't really affect the overall assembly. The stool's sturdiness is just ok. I don't think it would hold much pressure or a lot of weight. Also, when screwing in the pieces, the screws easily dented/cracked the boards if too much pressure was applied or if it was screwed in too tightly. The purchase was overall just ok for what I needed, but I definitely could have found a better product.
