After reading a review here saying this would fit the MaxxAir II cover I decided to purchase for recently bought MaxxAir II vent covers. The screens don't even come close to covering the entire louvered area of the MaxxAir II cover. I will be returning them. Don't be deceived to think they will work on this specific cover because they will not work.

Haven't tried, but looks like it's going to be easy to install.

Very easy to install and seems that it will do the job. For what it is the cost is pretty high. Not much to it and very flimsy but it's a screen so not sure how much there is to ask for. If it does the job that's good enough.

It used to be that the screen came as an integral part of their vent covers and they still should. That said you will want this screen with your FanMate cover to keep insects, especially nest builders, out of your cover. Sure, your fan has a screen, but without this one you'll be cleaning your fan screen constantly and wasp nests are no fun! The screen is a friction fit to the louvers and, like others have, a few zip ties are a good idea. I don't understand why the screen was not made for positive fastening as it would have only required a little more plastic to do so.

Fit perfectly in my maxxair vent fan shroud and should keep the bugs from getting in there and building nests

I installed this on my Rockwood GEO Pro FDS (2024). You do have to get completely on top of the roof to attach. There are two or four (I can't remember) pins to pull and then you can lift the cap of the FanMate up. Reach you arm in to install and it clips in decently. If you have any issues with installing, I can always make a video to help!I just wanted the extra layer of protection from bugs. I was having a few stink bugs and lady bugs come through the air vent. For the price, definitely work the extra caution!

The screen is not trimmed properly to fit the plastic frame. The tabs on the plastic frame do not lineup with the slots on the vent cover, and the plastic frame is so fragile that it cracks when you bend it while fitting it into the vent cover. The product is garbage and should be taken off the market.

This is one of those things that should have been included with the vent cover. Just another example of being ripped off by a manufacturer. There were a lot of negative reviews on how it fit, how hard it was to put on, how it needed zipties to hold it.....bull crap. it took about 5 minutes of fiddling with it to get it to the right spot, then it stayed in place pretty well. Just didn't like having to purchase something additional that should have come standard.

This anti-bug screen do the job, no more. The adjustment is poor. Bugs could be able to find a way by the side. I had to tight it with 2 or 3 ty-rap because it was always falling down (inside). But with the ti-rap, the adjustment is good and strong.
