Have had 3 Faith 15A GFCI outlets faith since install 4 years ago. Trip without known cause and will not reset, wire checks fine, replacement works fine. After disassembly, looks like reset plunger is breaking.

Some will say you should never back stab and if you feel that way then this product won’t effect you but I didn’t care for the wires ability to stay put once back stabbed as I tested both configurations. I would stick with traditional wire wrapping the screw.

As a safety item its best not to go too cheap with gfci. These are nice and sturdy and are comparable to some old Levitons i have replaced. I particularly like the LED that indicates the status, and the tamper resistant features. I liked these so much I also purchased the 20 amp version. For the cost these work very well.

Wanted the tamper resistant as it’s going into my kids bathroom. Straightforward installation with the hybrid connection terminals.Not push-in, and not the type that you have to wrap the wire around the screw. Just slide them in and tighten down. Great for when you have to re-evaluate your wiring decisions.Excellent price, especially if you already have cover plates lying around.

I bought this to replace a standard outlet near the kitchen sink in my 60 year old house. Very tight for the boxes used then. In fact I couldn't attach the wires to the screw terminals and still insert into the wall. I had to attach the wires directly from the back and tighten the screws to clamp them in place. Also the outlet box was metal so I needed to wrap it with electrical tape once around so that the terminal screws did not touch the box. After installation ALWAYS press the reset button. I like the indicator light too - let's me know it's still working.
