The lumber jack works well but the upper arm always unscented when pressure to lift a big log

the key to these log rollers is that the handle must be REINFORCED and very strong (this one could use some more reinforcement there as that is a serious stress point), the top log grabber must have a good point that is long enough to grab the log (or be hit with a hammer to drive it into log to grab it) and this one is ok, it also must extend well past the 90 degree turn in the handle (this one should extend a bit longer), and the base has to be strong enough to hold heavy logs (this one is ok).

Gives me the leverage to clear long tangled fallen trees that have fallen across my driveway and trails on my property after I cut them into manageable lengths

Definitely more substantial than my old one that twisted and bent with routine use. Used it on only one solid oak so far but worked as expected and seems like joints are strong. I did add locktite to threads out of habit. Time will tell about durability but I’m optimistic

I like this product, but I wouldn't try bigger logs as I feel it will bend. I cut down 5 large oak trees and need to cut them up without going into the dirt. Thought this would work, but nope. "I'm using a 20 inch bar/chain and the trunk is larger than that". So, I cut mostly through the log, then used this to roll it and cut the rest of the way. It's too big and heavy to lift up like it's supposed to. But, it's better than nothing like I had before.

no doubt, this thing is a BEAST of a tool , yes it is heavy , yes it will grab big logs (i have a few in the 30 ish range and it grabs them) and built to lift - 17 ft long and 28 inches diameter, and held it solid while cutting . should have bought this one first and then I wouldn't have three , two of which will now be gathering dust.

This log roller has simplified moving logs tremendously! I've used it on logs over 30" diameter by 8 feet with no problem. It doesn't slip and there's plenty of leverage. I expect it will last my lifetime.
