It ain't a Foredom, but I'm the kind of guy who would spend $14 to watch two pigs...you know. Good points: the chuck will handle a 1/4 shank tool; the Foredom won't; I don't have a lot of 1/4 shank tools I would want to be spinning on the end of a flexshaft, maybe some sandpaper or an occasional big bur. Now the not so good points: the handpiece doesn't fit on any Foredom flexshaft I have, the opening in the handpiece is too small. Ok, you're all mechanics, or jewelers, or some other form of near-do-wells, so you can fix this. You wouldn't be looking for a flexshaft handpiece if you didn't have a flexshaft would you? So, unscrew the tailpiece (lefty loosey, I know, it SHOULD be a left hand thread but isn't). It's aluminum (at least on mine). Take off the ball detent retainer clip carefully. Don't lose the ball, as another one will cost you $14. Ream out the shaft hole at least 1/4 inch past the detent ball hole with a stone bur. That bur is going to load up with aluminum several times before you get the proper diameter so have a dressing stick available to unclog it. Yes, a single cut carbide bur will work great, but I'll bet more times than not it will work too great. Unless you have the finesse of a watchmaker, stick with a stone bur. When you get the fit just right, debur the inside with a Cratex bob and reinstall the ball and retainer clip. Screw the tailpiece in tightly (it will unscrew if you don't) and give it a try. It won't be a Foredom and ghod only knows how long it will last, but it will work until it doesn't. Hey, it's 14 bucks.

It fit my older Foredom flex shaft, with a little modification. The housing is made out of aluminum Not like that one Review that said it’s plastic. So to Mount on my Foredom it needed to be drilled to a 13/16. Now fits Beautifully and works awesome as I’ve been using all the time it doesn’t get hot at all. Great tool for the price.

But did not fit my aged Foredom tool’s flexible shaft. Pity: I needed the extra jaw capacity.

I lost the ball bearing that is the detent that hold my handpiece onto my Ryobi PBLRT01 so I looked for an inexpensive replacement handpiece, not just the missing bearing. The OEM handpiece is $45 so I thought I would give this one a try at a quarter the price. I thought even if it didn't last very long it would still be worth the price. I could not find the dimensions for the connection between the handpiece and the flex shaft on any of the handpieces so I assumed they were a standard size. I should have known; assuming is never good. It is much smaller so it won't fit onto the flex shaft. And the detent bearing isn't the same either, so I'm off hunting for a bearing that will fit.

I have an old Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 1/4 HP Motor with a flexible shaft. so I changed the handle and it fit in perfectly. HF shaft handles chuck too small none 1/4". Eyourlife Flexible Shaft Grinder Handle have 1/4" chuck perfect for work Carbide Burr or sander (1/4" shank). Test running is good. thumb up.

Working well so far at a fifth the price of the big name brand option. Fits on my Foredom flex shaft but you do sorta need to push a bit harder to get it to snap on there, it's not quite easy as a Foredom hand piece. At first I thought it would not fit bit I fidgeted more with it and got it on. Like another guy said, it got a bit hot in use at first but seems to be getting better. It's also slightly more noisy. The key they use is slightly different and Foredom keys are not very compatible but this key actually is easier to use than the Foredom setup, convenient if you change bits a lot like I do. This key grips better and doesn't fall off as easily. It does come with a key but you only get the one so don't lose it, although I think I could scrape by with a Foredom key in a pinch.

I am very happy with this item. I have a Harbor Freight rotary tool. The chuck that comes with it does not fit 1/4 in bits. This item is a great solution for those larger bits. Easy to use and a great price. I would recommend this item.
