The Eylar 44” inch Mil-Spec elite protective rifle hard case is designed to secure your rifles for transport or storage. Two low profile reinforced solid roller wheels allow quick and effortless transport of the heaviest loads. Three folding, crushproof drag handles for rolling and hand carrying. Injection molded from reinforced high-pressure polypropylene plastic that is waterproof and crushproof. Adaptive pressure equalization valve to release built up air pressure allowing for atmospheric compensation when transported at high / low altitudes and within cargo vacuums. A waterproof seal is formed when the case is latched closed applying pressure to a rubber gasket that is molded to the perimeter of the case. Fully submerged waterproof protection for up to 1 meter. Resistant to extreme heat and freezing cold with a working temperature range of -20° F (-29 ° C) to 140° F (60 ° C). This hard gun case comes with 3 layers of foam designed to keep your valuables and rifles firmly in place, 1 fully customizable pull & pluck cubed foam layers, 1 solid pad layer and 1 layer of egg-crate foam padding for the lid. Four press & pull snap latches secure the full length of the 44” inch long case. Fit up to two rifles securely with an inner storage area of: 42" x 13.5" x 5.25” inches. Two pad lock adaptable fittings allow for secure storage at home or on the go. Featuring edge to edge crushproof protection up to 3,000 lbs. of directly dispersed weight. Uniform ridges on the top and bottom create a in line stackable design for multi case transport.
1/4" Padlock Hasps
Secure valuables inside this case by adding padlocks to the 1/4" padlock hasps.
Pressure Equalization Valve
Open the pressure valve to allow captured air pressure to equalize when traveling at different altitudes.
Foam Padding Included
Includes 1 layer of customizable cubed foam, 1 egg-crate top layer, and 1 bottom liner padding layer.

My only gripes with this case is that it weighs a TON and the wheels are only on one end. Something I don't care about is that you are only fitting one long-range rifle in this case with a scope attached. Two rifles would be a couple of ARs with red dots. One 20" AR with a large scope will fit just fine. The wheels are great but it would be great if the wheels were on both ends of the case.

I put a lot of money into a new hunting rifle so I didn't want to skimp out on the case to protect it. It is waterproof and very rigid. I put this through the rain and mud and threw it on the trailer of my quad and rode around the trails with it. All the contents inside were untouched. It has a very good seal. If you have a big elevation change, it has a pressure release screw on it to easily break the seal if it is suctioned shut. The only down side is it's very heavy, but cutting down weight generally sacrifices strength. So I can live with the extra weight. It has casters on it if you're on a flat surface. Its a great product for the money.

I do not have extensive experience with air travel and firearms but this case was perfect for my needs. I transported a rifle and handgun from LAX to Texas and back. No issues whatsoever. Only needed TSA type locks and all was good. Use it at home for storage. Locked up as well.
