GO OUT ON THE INTERWEBNET, YOU CAN FIND MULTIPLE DRUM LEGENDS LIKE CARL PALMER & STEWART COPELAND TALKING ABOUT PLAYING A SNARE USING STRINGS TO HOLD THE SNARE WIRES. CARL PALMER IS ACTUALLY TALKING TRASH ABOUT THE "VENUS" SNARE NAMED AFTER HIM THAT SHIPS WITH THE STRINGS INSTEAD OF THE MYLAR STRIPS.THE STRINGS HAVE NO DIMENSIONAL STABILITY AND PULL SNARE WIRES UNEVENLY. THE STRINGS ALSO STRETCH OVER TIME WHICH MEANS THE SNARE WIRES NEED MORE ADJUSTMENT THE MORE YOU PLAY.IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE SOME SYMPATHETIC VIBRATION USING THE STRIPS? MAYBE, BUT YOU HAVE TO BALANCE THAT AGAINST HOW OFTEN DO YOU PLAN ON PULLING YOUR SNARE DRUM OFF THE STAND TO FLIP IT UPSIDE DOWN AND WRENCH THE STRINGS TIGHT INTO THE SNARE BUTT PLATE.THE MYLAR STRIPS NEVER STRETCH, SO INSTALL YOUR WIRES AND MAYBE ONCE EVERY 3 MONTHS ADJUST THE TENSION ON YOUR SNARE WIRES WITH THE MICRO ADJUSTER ON YOUR THROW-OFF

Ho una valanga di fascette in kevlar e in plastica, avevo un urgenza e ho voluto provare queste in Mylar. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto in quanto, anche se non pensavo, non tendono a scivolare come quelle in plastica. Ottime.

I have put these snare strips to the test for several gigs, and they are worth every bit of the price. Perfect length to accommodate most any snare drum. The mylar is durable and thicker than I would have expected, but flexibility is not compromised and the thickness really give the strainer and end plate something to grab onto. Overall, excellent product that exceeds my expectations.

these black mylar straps are great. was doing a snare overhaul, you know, new heads (evans HD dry) and coils (pursesound 20 blaster), and thought, well, if ima put that money down, why not invest another $10 and make sure my straps are legit. these are much stiffer and crisper than original, which has already translated in my bands recording we did today.had to dial back my snare :0 . whoah. yeah. whether it was specifically this or not, dont matter. its the security of knowing my straps aint gona bust in the middle of that important moment in the recording i could only hit once. lol. by the way, we play death metal, and i am constantly doin blast beats on the snare that is CRANKED DOWN. these aint stretched none. i recommend.
