Perfect length for my tall hubby! We did have to max out the length for his V bass.

Super well made. Worth the money for sure. I found it a little difficult to mount strap locks because of the extra leather thickness, but not impossible. Use the strap lock nut without the washer to slightly compress the leather first, then remove the nut, install the washer, and re-install the nut. Using this process, can just get the nut started.

The Levy's leather straps are a great value, and this larger size works well for heavier bass guitars.

Super, etwas breit (weiss man vorher) hilft bei schweren Instrumenten, würde ich wieder kaufen.

Amazing strap for all of my 6 string basses. It even fixed my Warwick Thumb BO 6 strings neck dive. I could not be happier.

Construction and materials are nice - not luxury, but very good for price point. This would be great for many people as a bass guitar strap.I found it too wide for me with fairly stiff leather and padding. It pressed into my neck just enough to get irritating. Were it a tad narrower and/or the materials softer this wouldn't be a problem. It's entirely possible it would break in and get better over time, but is irritating now. This might be great for some people, but I'm going to look for a 3" strap instead.

I play bass, use a Fender P, weighs about 10 pounds. My band likes to 90 minute or longer sets. My old strap caused my shoulder to get very tired. This helps! It is very wide, almost from my neck to the end of my shoulder and it distributes the weight nicely! I will buy another for my back up bass!

Absolutely the best guitar/bass straps in the world, period!!!Fit, finish, everything screams quality. With this strap you don't feel the weight of the guitar on your shoulder.Distributes the weight evenly and the padding helps a lot for the great comfort these straps give.Well done Levy's!

I bought this strap in the Amazon Warehouse for less than $27. It said "used" but arrived new and repackaged (which is typically my experience with Amazon Warehouse deals). What a deal! I wanted a wider strap for my Epiphone '58 Korina Flying V becaues it is a little neck heavy. I also bought a M4GF strap at the same time (also very cheap) to see which worked best for the V. For the V, the won the battle. The suede underside on the M4GF keeps the guitar from neck dipping at all. But, this review is for the MSS2-4. This strap is just beautiful. The strap is not as flexible and fluid as the M4GF, but that is likely because the strap is multi-layered with soft leather on the underside and has a good amount of padding. I have a super heavy '83 Gibson Explorer, for which this strap is perfect. The strap is actually 4.3/8" wide, and is very comfortable. It actually makes the Explorer feel lighter. It slides on my shoulder with ease, which is exactly what I needed for the Explorer. This strap will be much cooler (as in less sweating beneath the strap when playing) than the M4GF because the M4GF has the soft leather underside instead of a suede underside. The strap has the leather oval Levy's button logo sewn on instead of just having the logo stamped into the leather like on the M4GF, and this is a nice touch. If I find more MSS2-4s in the Amazon Warehouse cheap, I'll definitely buy them.
