The included EMAD2 batter and reso heads put your bass drum’s attack, focus, and sustain in your hands, allowing you to completely customize your sound. The two-ply construction of the EMAD2 bass batter features one ply of 7mil film and one ply of 10mil film, maximizing your attack and low-end. The head’s sustain can be dialed in easily, thanks to two interchangeable damping rings. On the other end, the EMAD reso head boasts an offset 4” microphone port in a single ply of 10mil film, plus a foam damping ring around the port's external edge for greater control of your overtones. Both the EMAD2 and EMAD heads feature Level 360 technology.

Bought these for my son, he plays on a generic 25-year-old drum kit that came from Mars music, if you remember that place. They did a good job creating their budget line drums though, and these heads make them sound spectacular! There is some versatility in the sound based on the rings. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

después de años, decidí cambiar mis parches de gama baja por estos. mi bombo es de una marca de entrada, y es increíble como este juego de parches puede elevar el sonido del instrumento, ya no tengo que recurrir a cobijas o almohadas dentro del bombo, con el aditamento de las almohadillas con el que está construido, mi bombo nunca habia sonado tan bien, estoy encantado

Contento con el resultado de sonido. Mi bombo pedia cambio de parches ya y es un plus que tenga la opción de poder quitar la almohadilla gris para que no quede tan apagado si quieres.

Wonderful product, I've been playing drums since I was about 6 or 7, these are some of the best sounding bass drum heads I've heard especially with the inline dampeners and adding a kick pad. It makes my 200 dollar set I recently purchased sound amazing.

Provate subito in un live Evans si conferma prodotto di grande affidabilità e prestazione. facile ottenere il suono che si desidera giocando con le accordature tra battente e risonante, la battente non perde l'accordatura anche bistrattandola un po'

Some people will swear by Remo drum skins and others by Evans. You have to figure out what type of tone you want from your drum kit. I went for the Evans EMAD skin as I was intrigued by the dampening system they have incorporated on the skin. I still use a pillow inside my bass drum and use the thinner dampening ring and my kick sounds fabulous. I have watched many videos of the Evans EMAD skin review where they don’t have any pillow/blanket inside the drum and they recommend doing the same, but i’m not quite ready to give up on the pillow just yet lol. Hopefully this helps, and remember, figure out the tone you want out of your kick and then go for the skin that will help you achieve that tone.

Ordered early hours of Monday morning, received Tuesday morning! I've used the Evans EMAD system before, and love the tonal qualities it gives, but I am a heavy hitter, and tend to go through beater heads every 3 or 4 months, so I thought this time I'd try the ported resonator head too as its fast approaching recording time! Thanks guys, loving it!
