These sneaker socks are excellent for my line dancers! Most of the dancers prefer the black socks - it would be nice to be able to buy a whole set of black ones instead of the combination set of black and grey.

These socks are SO VERY slippery.It’s the material they used.Slippery =dangerous.Can not be used on dance floor without losing balance.

I keep a pair of these in my car and my purse. I never know when I will feel like dancing and with most shoes having rubber soles these help you slide your feet on any dance floor. Great gifts for dancing friends.

Some of you reviewers seem to want a lot for less than $2 a pair! No they don't replace dance shoes but they'er better than dancing in your socks. They are great to hand out to newbies who show up to class w/o dance shoes or when you forget your dance shoes. They cover the ball of the foot where most dancers turn and leave the heal area non-slick for breaking and stability.

These socks are well made and do what they are supposed to do.I usually wear one so I don’t slip as I turn while dancing.Definitely recommend.

Have used them over sandal and dress shoes for round dancing. Was worried that the hem stitching might be too bulky, but they felt fine under foot.

I got these "sockies" to square and round dance with on nonskid floors. They're like a thick sock with a cuff on each end. They're good for square dancing. Whether or not you like them for round (read ballroom) dancing will depend on how much of your foot you like to have covered. From end to end, they measure about 3-3/4" to 4". This is not long enough for my preference and shoe size. I like my U.S. ladies' 7-1/2 shoe to be covered from the very tip of my toe, where the shoe ends, to the very rear of the ball of my foot on the pinky-toe side. These were a little too short to do that comfortably. Unstretched, if I put them where I wanted toward the middle of my foot, the front end came just to the joint in my big toe -- too short. If I stretched them, they wanted to either slide off the front or slide back toward the rear of my foot. If they were about 1 inch longer, they'd be perfect. They seem well made and they definitely compensate for these nasty floors. It would also be good if they came in beige and there was a package of mixed black and beige.
