I bought two 3000w inverters with my own money. Admittedly, I destroyed them both due to storing them inside an enclosed space - perhaps even some other factors I created as well. The inverter(s) worked well and came highly recommended by YouTube sensations John "The Headsamsher" Daniels and his daughter, Keira. Their wild video put this product through rigorous paces and it passed all tests of what was thrown at it. their video was convincing enough; proof enough, to buy the Erayak inverter - twice. After blowing the internal capacitors (28 total between two inverters), I decided to reach out to the company for advice on where to find the correct capacitors for a replacement. Erayak's customer service team were sympathetic to my plight - so much so, they recommended that i toss the purchased two units and at their own business expense, send me a new one the next day. They even paid for the shipping and handling costs. I paid NOTHING! I am here now to pay my well-warranted gratitude. Erayak showed more concern for me and my safety above their bottom line. I now have the new unit and am having it installed inside a better, well-ventilated location in my RV. Thank you Erayak, for you never even publicized that, why, or how, you helped me. You just quietly did a good deed. John "The Headsmasher" Daniels, if you're reading this five-star review, you were right about this company. they do care. they do listen when their customer speaks! Buy quality products made by Erayak. You'll be glad you did.

The 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter by Erayak, has been a solid performer with two outlets that have surge resets, 18W USB-C and true pure sign wave power. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – This unit looks and feels like it’s a well-made product, that should survive, assuming the electronics hold up. I’d put the overall quality in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for inverters.II. Performance – It’s light weight and about average size for a 2000W inverter. It provides 8 points to bolt it down effectively. It has two 3-pronged sockets, they can accommodate 20A plugs with one sideways prong. It also includes an 18W USB-C port that can come in handy. It can convert the power from DC to AC effectively and doesn’t make excessive noise. In my testing it’s actually a pure sine wave inverter. The included cables seem to be too small, but many inverters don’t even come with install cables anyways. I chose to replace them with much thicker cables to handle my intended uses. It’s been able to handle about 1800 watts effectively without issue and seems to perform well (that’s the highest I’ve tested it). It would be nice if it included a power meter or some kind of digital display. I really like that it has individual A/C plug resets. It also includes a wired remote control, that can be great to have in most install scenarios.Overall, it provided steady power that was sufficient to its capacity, didn’t make too much excessive noise and overall works great. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision

This 2000 watt inverter was purchased for use in a truck camper where it will be used to power a small refrigerator/freezer combo, laptop, and small appliances like a Keurig coffee maker. The total power consumption of these devices is far below the 2000watt/4000watt surge capacity of this inverter, especially when used individually. I like the fact that his inverter model uses the proper 20 amp connector that you would find in building electrical codes. Many other inverters on the market do not.The build and finish quality looks good and is very solid. There are plenty of holes for various mounting options and the case has a standoff lip integrated into it, presumably to help improve airflow and reduce the risk of fire. Two fans help remove heat and the heavy gauge metal serve as an added heatsink. The fans shut off after an initial power on test, making this inverter quiet under light loads. It does have a standby current when not in use. I didn't measure this to know the exact value, but keep in mind that it will consume some power, even when powered up but not in use. Overall power efficiency under light loads seems to be above 95%. I expect this might drop some under considerable load.I have identified a problem and a few design limitations that could create issues for some users.First, the power meter is inaccurate. If you are using the inverter with a load of less than 100 watts, the power meter shows an output of 0 Watts. After the load exceeds about 100 watts the meter begins to display an actual power reading. The output voltage shown on the built-in meter is 114 volts, but when tested with a reputable multimeter it's actually 120 volts. I am not sure if these issues with the accuracy of the power meter are a limitation of the power meter, or the unit is defective. It's also important to note, the vendor never discloses the accuracy of these measurements or the effective range the meter can operate within in the manual or on their amazon sales page. After receiving a replacement unit, I confirmed it's also happening on the second unit.Second, the unit has no GFI protection, which is really what you need when operating such a unit outdoors where moisture is more common. The mfg should consider adding this.Third, there is no breaker or fuse accessible from outside the unit. The manual says it has some built-in protections, which likely use thermal reactive electronics, but a replacement or user resettable fuse is not part of the design. The battery cables also lack fuse or circuit breaker protection so you should consider adding these as part of your installation for additional safety. This unit came packaged in a box that clearly displays the contents on the outside (keep this in mind if you have it shipped to areas of high theft)Seller offered to refund product after second unit was shipped with same issues, but then reversed this decision. Buyer beware!
