Guteauto Engine Air Valve Holder Kit is used to pressurize the cylinder to keep the valve closed under the action of compressed air. Therefore, the oil seal of the valve can be replaced without disassembly.
During the compression stroke of the cylinder. You can hear the sound of continuous air leaking if the engine airtightness is inadequate. Locate the leak by listening for damaged parts.
Our pressure pipe has a 1/4 NPT ball valve and an M14+M18 thread. The spark plug position must be used to install the connector for this tool.
This kit is compatible with gasoline-powered vehicles like automobiles, trucks, ships, motorbikes, ATVs, and more. Not for use in automobiles with diesel engines.

Line burst while working at 100psi. Directions say up to 110 psi is good. My ears are still ringing. This thing is a piece of trash.

It did the job, but it had a slight leak which caused the outer layer of the hose to bubble up and burst.

Imagine trying to thread this long hose into a plug hole when it’s close to the firewall or strut tower. You need to coil it up and make it as short as possible so you can spin it without cross threading. It’s too stiff to spin when extended out and bent around corners. Works fine when engine is out of car.

Great affordable tool to pressurize engine cylinders for valve work. The tool is very simple and well made. Thread into spark plug hole, hook up to air hose and turn the valve. I prefer to use a pressure regulator so I can control the pressure going into the cylinder. The price is great for this and well deserving of 5 stars.
