Poly is the answer if you're having issues with control arm bushings on a link-arm suspension and aren't crawling rocks. This tightened up my 24 year old ZJ quite well, it drives like a brand-new vehicle again- actually, even better.Do make sure you lube the heck out of these so they don't squeak. If they end up squeaking, motorcycle chain oil (not dry lube, the penetrating stuff) is the solution. Apply after every oil change and you should be fine. Better yet, drill the buishings for zerk fittings and lube on initial install with Lucas Red-N-Tacky, then grease at every oil change with the same. Problem solved, problem stayin' solved!

These bushings are fantastic so far!! Was not an easy job by any means, but these are worth it. Even the alignment crew was amazed at how tight this vehicle is. Amazing suspension parts!

This items are great, the instructions leave something to be desired but the product itself is great. I had bump-steer problems and certain areas on my way to work that always triggered it. With these parts installed, solid once again. You can feel the road and bumps a bit more but not too harsh. Steering feels solid now and no more bump steer worries. To remove the old shells, which will need to be reused, use a drill and drill the old rubber bushings all around the center steel sleeve. Push the sleeve out (I used a ball joint press to do this) and the rest of the rubber comes out. Realize there are some bushings that appear to sell the entire assembly with the shells so consider those if you want to save some trouble and time.
