Changed filter then water wouldn’t dispense. Googled and found it was this device. Googled and only Amazon had them in stock. 2 days no water dispensing from fridge. Part came in, changed immediately. Water pressure from fridge is so much better than it was. Also fixed problem with water occasionally running by itself.

Fit perfectly, easy to install. The frame and one of the spade connectors were slightly bent, but they were easily straightened. Unfortunately, the water valve was not the problem...still investigating a solution to my water dispenser problem.

I have a Fridgidaire refrigerator, and my icemaker was making ice, but the water in the door wasn't working at all. I ordered this water inlet valve, when I recieved it one of the locking washers was broken so I returned it. The replacement part came the next day. I took pics of the old water inlet valve to make sure I hooked it back up correctly. It was very easy to replace, and everything works great!I would like to add that I am a Grandmother and this was a breeze to replace. I'm not sure what an appliance repairman would charge to replace the water inlet valve but I'm sure it is more than 28$.
