Perfect fit replacement for the blown speaker in my Acoustic B100 mkII. Double wattage of the original speaker and sounds better to boot!

This speaker is a great replacement for my blown Hartke speaker. I paired this with a TC Electronics compact 200w bass amp in my kickback combo cabinet. It turned out to be a sweet combination with great sound and solid simplicity. My “new” amp is great for trio work, rehearsals and general purposes. This was a solid buy.

I replaced an old Peavey Scorpion speaker. Sounds is good. For the price it was a great deal. Instead of re-coning the old one it made sense for an extra 20 dollars get a new speaker, very happy with the old practice amp. Full range sound. I am using an old Mark IV head. It pumps when I need it it’s good enough to gig

Dropped right in the fender 1x15 cab and sounds great. Better than the fender speaker (it was 8ohm). I needed a 4ohm 1x15.

Sounds amazing. Bought this speaker to replace an old stock speaker in a 1980s Yorkville solid state bass amp combo, 150watts. The previous PA speaker in there sounded thin and almost nasaly, but this one sounds much more rich and is capable of reproducing all the nuances of my playing. That low end is quite thumpin' too! Sounded great right out of the box and after a few hours of break-in it sounded spectacular!

Crusher, DestroyerFantastic driver. Just finished a project I've been wanting to do for years. I built a greenboy 15" ported sub cabinet with this driver with an optional switch for 250Hz crossover. I spent a ton of time and money researching and building this thing, I was worried it would sound just like any other bass cab. I was wrong. Very wrong. This thing sounds fantastic, rich and crisp for both bass and low-tuned guitars. It cuts through walls like paper and shakes my whole house. Make sure you have an amp that can feed this hungry demon, the 4ohm version eats 100W at 3 ohm for breakfast. Can't wait to try it in my 5.1 home theater!My super simple setup-bass guitar --------> pedals --------->Amp (super simple class D 500W@3ohms) -------->eminence/greenboy cab 5.5ft^3 ported cab.I've never played gear that sounded anywhere near this good. This speaker looks well-built with good components, the sealing gasket is very high quality. Greenboy cabs are free for non-commercial use and made a great match for this driver. Also, Eminence's website is super helpful with useful data and sample designs which really sold me on this driver and likely more in the future.Update: The 250Hz crossover switch is fantastic and well worth the 60bucks. Turn it on for deep, clean bass or for home theater sub. Turn it off for fantastic overdriven, down-tuned stoner doom metal-sludge. I like to split my guitar signal to a peavey 4x12 and this, overdriven to hell on their own 500W amp. This makes me feel like amazing.When the neighbors were on vacation I plugged it into my 5.1 Pioneer sub channel with it's own dedicated 300W @3ohms mono amp and cranked it, Pioneer set to send 50Hz and under to the sub... This was an experience that exceeded my highest expectations. Watched/listened to everything from Saving Private Ryan to Bellwitch and Tool.Really great driver for the price in the right cab! This will move your dishes around in the cupboards and can be heard a block away if you send lower frequencies!

I recently purchased this as a replacement driver in my hand-me-down Peavey 1x15 TNT cab. The "Black Widow" driver whose sound I was in love with suddenly began making that buzzing sound a driver makes when its cone is through.I admittedly was in a bit of a tiff when I discovered the same driver was almost impossible to find, and the ones I did find were going for well over $140.This driver was a direct swap right into the cabinet and I have almost never been happier with an Amazon purchase. It reproduces the same deep lows with no problem and even has higher power handling at fraction of the weight of the old driver. I'm only running 200 watts through it and it can easily overpower a full drum kit and a guitar ran through 2x12 @ 150watts, both at full tilt. I also run my keyboard through it and it produces some pleasing midrange as well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from Eminence.

I used this to replace the speaker in my Ampeg Rocket. It sounds better than the original speaker and was an easy install. No complaints.

I have been using Eminence exclusively for a few years now, and have just finished in replacing all of the speakers I already had with Eminence. Even their cheapest "Legend" series have sounded a lot better than the Celestions that I had previously been using. I also really like how on their website they have sound samples that you can compare for all the different styles so you can really tailor your sound. Plus, the spec sheets for cabinet design are really invaluable as well. And this is to say nothing of their customer service.I used this to make a small, compact, 1x15" bass cabinet to be paired with a 200W head, and the 4 ohm made it so they could take advantage of the full output capability of the amplifier. It is powerful, deep, rich, and crystal clean. Everything else in the world vibrates, except the rock-solid shell of this speaker.
