How long should I charge my two way radio battery?
As always, it depends on the type of battery. Ni-CAD, Ni-MH and Li-Ion all have different charging methods.
Generally though, it should only take two hours on a rapid charger and 4-6 hours on a standard charger.
When using for the first time, it is recommended that you charge overnight, that is, the charging time is about 12 hours. Some specialized chargers take longer, such as charger-conditioners.

If you need a great price on these replacement batteries this is the battery to go with. However, I work for a large organization with about 80 radios. I have purchased approximately 60 batteries from here and ive had to throw away approximately 13 of these batteries. Even batteries i purchased in september and October some of them have failed already. It would behoove you to spend more and get a better battery. my last order of 8 batteries was my last. I cant get ahold of the seller to get them replaced at all.
