I got this battery to replace the battery for my walkie at work because it died. It's bigger and holds a charge wayyyy longer than my old one which is super convenient... very happy!

I have the model RDM2070d walkie. I just bought this battery, and it charged the first night. Now 3 days later it won't hold a charge (according to the base it's a fully charged battery). Plus the battery does not stay securely in the walkie. Barely bumping it dislodges it. Would not recommend this product.

the extra power for longevity is fine, but the batteries cannot be inserted into the charging base without being attached to the radio. Even then, the fit is so snug into the slotted inserts I am concerned that multiple "forcing" of them into the charging bases of my Motorola RDU4160d base. It appears that the slots that are meant to fit into the base without the radio being attached, are a different fitment than the OEM batteries and will not fit. I would give it 5 Stars, if the manufacturer would be so kind as to contact me to address the situation.
