I have 6 acoustic guitars. I have tried most of the name-brand strings and always go back to Elixirs. Primarily because of the longevity of the strings. I don't have to change them near as often. I use mediums on two of my guitars and HD light strings on the other four. I use either the phosphor bronze or the 80/20 nanoweb. Which ever I get the best deal on.

The best acoustic strings I have ever played on my Washburn EA22 Platinum (in 25 years that is).Especially the slightly adjusted combination of string diameters (13 - 53 as opposed to the regularly available 12 - 53) makes for brilliant and bright, yet strong sound and great playability.Love them!

I am using them on an older Ovation Long neck that was originally set up for standard tuning. I found that tuned down as most long scale guitars are tuned performed better for me. The are not too slinky in my opinion and I like the way they sound on this guitar. With the capo the guitar feels like a regular acoustic. I don't know if there are many people that want a long neck in standard tuning but I would not recommend these string for that usage.

I've always LOVED Elixir guitar strings. I've used them for years on my acoustics. Love the way they feel. They seem to work well with my body chemistry and last quite well without tarnishing too quickly especially if you diligently wipe them down after playing.

I was amazed at the quality of this string. I just bought a brand new Taylor guitar for our choir performance at St James Cathedral a week ago, Dec.10, then on to our own church the next day and finally this evening on our special Christmas event at the same church. It resonates with a good sustain, both on the bass side and the high tones.. Really crisp and great deep tones. Highly recommended. Well worth the money..

Best strings for the money. I play daily and a set lasts me about a month and a half with cleaning between playing. I used a Martin HD-28.

These strings are absolutely fantastic! I have used them for years on all of my acoustic guitars from Ovation to Yamaha to Fender to Alvarez and I am impressed with the look feel and sound on every one! The strings have a beautiful rich sound with clean crisp highs and full deep bass. They last a very long time with little change in sound so worth the extra money for the great feel, sound and durability.
