About this item

  • Black Diamond Strings N600MB Acoustic Black Coated Phos Med .013BP.017BP.026PBB.035PBB.046PBB.056PBB
  • Black Diamond Strings construction starts with high carbon steel core wire pulled to optimum playing tension and wound with selected high-grade wrap wire.
  • Black Diamond Strings Since 1890. Today we have sophisticated winders, stronger materials and better technology. But yes, Black Diamond Strings is the same brand that played a huge part in the lives of prior generations.
  • Black Diamond Strings 92/8 black coated strings offer a unique combination of cutting-edge technology and superior protection. With their exclusive blend of Copper (92%) and Zinc (8%), these strings provide users with an exceptionally smooth feel, while also offering improved longevity by protecting against acidic fingerprint buildup that can lead to unwanted overtones.
  • Black Diamond Strings offer unparalleled longevity, thanks to a protective coating that fends off premature wear caused by hand oils. With this added protection comes the ability for musicians to get up to three or four times more playing time out of their instrument – and easy-to-spot signs when it's finally time to replace them! For maximum coverage, every single one of the strings is equipped with an even coat; ensuring consistent feel across your instrument.

Our black coated acoustic strings, provide an even longer life to Black Diamond's superior duration. The coating will protect your strings from hand oils that can cause premature wear. All six strings are coated to give full protection and a balanced feel.

My Dad always used black diamond strings so when I came upon them I thought I would give them a try and they sound excellent

Larry Cordle thought Black Diamond strings were good so I went for these. They are black and in low light if you play like me and have to look down to see where to put your fingers it can be an issue. But they sound good and stay in tune.

I usually use elixars but was curious about the tone and how long they would stay in tune and their still going strong but the coating is wearing in a bunch of spots . no big deal.

When I first put these strings on I was very pleased, very loud and responsive. After a few days of playing they seemed to lose a lot of their brightness.

I chose these, because my dad used them. I've not had the luck with this set, I thought my dad had with his sets. I may still try another set lated to make sure I haven't just gotton a poor string.

I've used these strings for a couple of years now. They are, hands down, the best sounding strings I've found - I use light strings and the other brands just couldn't give me the fullness that these strings did. They are also a unique look which I like. I also use these strings on my Mandolin . They also have a great life length - easy to tell when they're getting old by the black wearing off at the fret board. They were originally recommended to me by a lifelong guitar player and he had never given me bad advice, so I can say that he was correct!
