I have to admit I’m pretty impressed with this vacuum pump. It appears to be built from durable materials so it should hold up pretty good over time. My 2 favorite things about it were pretty clear right out of the box. The digital touch screen which can be used for vacuum graphing to see how the vacuum test holds and if and when it drops in pressure. Saves you the boring task of sitting right in front of your gauges to watch and see if the needle moves. The second would have to be the ability to view and operate remotely via the app. Is allows you to be able to watch the system for leaks vs starring at a set of gauges. This little pump is quiet, performs well, is lightweight, and is a nice quality build. It had no trouble pulling my mini split down below 50 microns. Compared to so many other brands of vac pumps, it is nice to see a quality build. Everything is molded and milled to shape, aligns well, and feels good in your hand, not flimsy or hollow low-grade stuff. All in all I’d say this is an awesome vacuum pump and would highly recommended it.

This is a solid pump that has some good weight to it. I had no issues with the app and it was easy enough to use. I picked this up for my brother in law (he is a mechanic, a real one not like me) and he was impressed with it and said it performed flawlessly for him and he found it easy to use.I have picked up several Elitech items for him and he has had nothing but good things to say about them. 5 STARS

Elitech SVP-12 Intelligent HVAC Vacuum Pump 12 CFM 2 Stage Rotary Vane Touch ScreenThis is a great vacuum pump that is easy to use. We have found the Elite Gauge App you can connect to it to be very helpful for us, as it is easy to navigate and has a good interface. You are able to adjust the settings on the pump from the app or, if you choose not to use the app, you can adjust via the touchscreen on the pump. We didn't have any issues connecting to the app via bluetooth and love that it stores historical data for reference. We have used once without the app, utilizing just the touchscreen and found it to be very responsive.The pump itself is robust and powerful. We have used other vacuum pumps in the past and have found this one to have a stronger motor and create a more powerful suction than some others. It comes complete with everything you need to use- including oil. The machine ships dry but adding oil is quick and easy once you know where to put it. The directions are not completely clear but the oil goes under the exhaust cap. We found many helpful instructional videos that the manufacturer produced that I suggest watching if you have any issues.This is overall a really good pump that performs as expected and has already saved us service calls on our home and vehicles.

I like this vacuum pump because it has real-time monitoring on both the pump and phone app. You can see any fluctuations over time in pressure and can set alarms to alert you when a system is evacuated. It's a set and walk-away pump.It has a high CFM rating for its size, and I found that it will quickly evacuate most systems. Thanks to the heavy-duty construction, it has not had any issues in daily use. Overall I like it and appreciate the advanced features.

We've been putting our trust in Elitech products here on our land for years now. We knew years ago when we first tried out their infrared refrigerant leak detector that they make a good, dependable product. My Wife's uncle, who also has a home on our land, is HVAC certified. So I leave it up to him to use this equipment, but at least walk me through how it works. His overall take on the vacuum was that it works great. I asked him if the vacuum was only practical for DIY, occasional use. Or if it would actually work for commercial purposes for an HVAC tech. He said it would work just fine for someone with an AC repair business.
