Complete kit for the DIY guy. This has everything you need to get started if you are working on your cars A/C system. Right out of the box, I had to clean the entire unit because it was covered in oil, which appeared to leak out of the unit. The supplied bottle of oil to refill the pump was intact and still sealed, so I assume this was residual oil left in the unit from the factory.After everything was cleaned up, I assembled the gauges and hoses, and filled the vacuum pump with the appropriate amount of oil. I hooked everything up and pulled a vacuum on the gauge set. I tested both sides, letting each side sit for 10 or 15 minutes to see if there were any leaks. Everything sealed up fine and the pump pulled vacuum with no problem. It is also fairly quiet while running. I like that they included the R134 quick adapters and the can tap with the kit so that everything you need is there when you open it. There are even some additional seals and valve cores included. I don't know if this will hold up to everyday use for a professional, but for the one or two times a year I might use it, I don't think you can beat a hundred bucks.

I replaced the complete AC system in my 2001 2500HD myself and wanted to charge the AC myself.This pump and gauge set were priced perfect for me.I watched a few videos online and it was simple to pull a vacuum on the AC system and just as easy to recharge it.Ac is not as complicated as II have always assumed it was.This pump and gauges feel well made and gave me no issues.I am happy with this kit and I would. buy it again.5 STARS
