Other reviews say that orders can be delayed. This was true for me -- 3 weeks instead of 2 -- and I planned accordingly. The panels are made from some sort of composite that can be handled like ordinary wood. I attached these while working from inside the attic (held in place with ropes tied to attic collar ties), ran a bead of silicone caulking around the edges, and secured them against the house using deck screws through the house's sheathing. The white primer matches our white trim -- so I didn't paint them. But the surface looks like it would take a coat of paint.

I was so happy to find replacement vents for my cupola with wooden vents. Over time and Western summer exposure my vents had deterioted and rotted. I ordered the painable ones to match the colors of the house. They are a perfect fit and look FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend.

I ordered as close as I could to my actual hole size, this piece was a little large. No problem, it's got plenty of fat on the sides to trim it up and it was perfect. Well built too

Still works but I need another one with wider hole openings to let more air in or out since I have a fan blowing air out of attic.

Great product, shipped well packed and no damage at all. Took longer than expected for delivery but worth the wait. Ended up returning only because the slots were not large enough to let the air out with the attic fan I have.
