We added this to the wall of our shed to allow greater ventilation. It has worked great. It does seem to keep out pests. Very simple to install and works great.

While this product comes in a variety of sizes, the one I ordered: 10 inches, does not have that opening size. the opening is 9.125 inches. This is quite important if you are meeting code for your attic. For me it is fine, just venting the freezer room. But good thing I measure it before cutting the hole in the wall .....The screening is good quality: pretty sure I will not have bug issues this summer

Good quality. Very good quality, assuming it won't rust or break down anytime soon. Size as advertised and comes with screen. Exactly what I needed. Recommended. Easy install as expected and if you are replacing current vent.

Ordered this for a generator enclosure I'm building, so I needed something to let in the air but not all the creatures we have running around at our place. The vent seems to be solid construction, and the screen is an expanded metal type mesh and not a thin screen door type screen I've seen on other vents. Frame is honestly more rigid than I thought it was going to be, so that's a plus. Came with a pair of gloves I assume are to help you install the vent, but they are too small for my big ham fists, Also looks to be powder coated, or at least a decent epoxy paint. Should hold up well for my application.

This is a good quality, we ordered it to use on the gable end of a shed. Easy to install. Seems well made, comparable in price to the ones in the big stores. I really like that this is painted aluminum so I don't have to worry about rusting down the road. This has the screen mounted to the back to keep bugs and other critters from getting in.

This is the exact size I was hoping for. It fits well and it seems pretty sturdy. It looks nice and crisp and clean. I know this is just a wall vent, but I couldn't find this size for a floor vent, so I'm using it as a back-up for my other similar item in case it breaks. Still worth getting this nice looking thing a few times if broken compared to the uglier sturdy kind that are more expensive.

Screen not wide enough to be attached on one side. Will allow wasp and other insects in.
