I am a homeowner and had been looking for a trowel for some time now and I was glad when I saw this offered. It is my first trowel. With what little work I have done in the past requiring concrete or mortar, I always seemed to get by fudging it with other tools like wide putty knives and such. I thought about buying a trowel, or two, but they were too expensive in the big box home improvement stores so I always took a pass.I have not used this trowel yet, but I will likely next summer. I can say that it feels substantial and looks like it is constructed beyond its price point (about $8 at the time of this review), and is not flimsy. I find the rubberized handle to be nice with an ergonomic design so it feels great in the hand. It will be a handy thing to have on hand. I have no complaints.
