I did a trial run by setting this up between 2 trees before I went camping to make sure I knew what I was doing. I camped overnight in Tennessee in October and a very cool night. This is very easy to set up and functions very well. Seems to be very strong. I am 5’10” about 200 pounds. The only thing was I didn’t stretch it quite tight enough and I didn’t have proper bedding in it and everything kept sliding down towards my midsection so my back and legs were getting cold at night. The next day, a friend advised me that they make a wool blanket made for hammocks so they stay in place on cool nights. If you wanna sleep in a hammock with a rain fly and a bug screen, this is a great hammock to get but just be aware to get the proper bedding if it’s cool outside so you stay warm. One other thing, it didn’t rain when I slept in it but the rain fly seems like it may be just about 6 or 8 inches too short for staying dry in a rain. Like I said, I didn’t test it in the rain, so read other reviews and ask questions as well.

Very disappointed to order and get it with missing rainfly, sent back then re ordered and received next one with fly. I am now really glad I made the decision to order again as this is a great hammock for the cost and performed in heavy rain very well . I would highly recommend

Stitching is fraying in places leading to longevity concerns. Have had only a few days. Additionally small tears have appeared presumably from pine needles getting in - this wouldn’t be an issue if parachute nylon used wasn’t so thin (seems to be half of thickness of Grand Trunk brand name hammock).Mosquito netting good quality though, and I like the roominess of design. Grateful for the abundance of guy lines. Convenient but likely a disposable if using for multi-day backcountry excursions / mountaineering. You’ll definitely want to buy an under quilt re: mosquitos and be super careful about the smallest puncture from woodland foliage as will tear on you mid-trip - I’ll be purchasing repair tape and expect after a few weeks a good chunk of hammock will be covered due to pine needles.Would appreciate it if manufacturer would reach out to discuss the aforementioned deficiencies as this was definitely not the cheapest hammock I could have purchased. Quality definitely not worth the price, but functionality is. Hopefully they’ll go with a thicker material in future and better sewing because this product could potentially replace majority of my backcountry camping equipment.Update: despite numerous attempts to connect with the seller, they made no effort to respond. I’ve now missed my return window, and have no other choice but to buy reinforcement tape and fix the issues myself. This product has the potential the be the best on market, but the seller’s lack of customer service, and the fraying of the stitching makes this a “do not buy”. Be warned.

This hammock is not worth my money that I have spent in it. The zipper rip off the hammock on the first night sleeping in it. I'll never buy this product from this company again.

I'm 6'4" and 270 #'s and I never once felt unsafe sleeping in these for 4 consecutive nights. Once they are set up and attached to your tree's, they are very solid ! Very comfortable. Be sure to watch some vids on how to use the tree straps so you dont fall ! My first set up of hammock, rain fly took about an hour, but I would bet the next time would take me 15 minutes tops now that I know what I need to do.The very brief directions I feel are off with stating a 8-12 foot distance for your tree spread unless you are a small person. If you are hanging from a monstrous tree with a large diameter maybe 12' would work, but if you hang on say a 6-8 inch diameter tree the first loop to connect your hammock to is almost on the ground I feel like a minimum of 15 feet would be a better starting point because the tree straps are so long(good thing). The company does have excellent customer service. Amazon shorted me my rain fly and stakes 3 days before I was leaving, but the company stepped up and got them to me in time before I left. Cant thank them enough ! They will take care of any issues.Small things I really liked. The quick clip into tree strap, Rainfly is nice, big and super light, and then the ridge lines that hold up your bug net are FLEXIBLE ! which is great so you dont tear things. as you sink down into your hammock, the flexible ridge lines stretch and keep your bug net at a the height you need instead of being pulled down by your weight in the hammock which may put stress on the zipper. The only con to this is that hanging things on the inside of the bug net (lantern/fan) will drop down the top of the bug net quite a bit vs a non flexible ridgeline.Overall, I cant wait to try this again and I hope each time is just as trouble free as the first :) I was super skeptical, but after doing it one time changed my mindset.

Had this product for the entire 2020 season, and got great use out of it!The bug net system works really well for the price (I did spend $10 on making some spacers to make it a bit more roomy), and the hammock is comfortable and roomy. I wouldn't sleep 2 people in it, but definitely for laying down it works. The rain fly worked very well regardless of orientation, holding up under some decent strength winds and rain. I did end up snagging the hammock on a branch while packing it up once, ripping a whole in it. For the rest of the season a duct tape patch held it together, until I contacted support and got some excellent advice for a more permanent solution! It may not be the fanciest hammock money can buy, but it is a steal at this price for an all-in-one system!

This is a nice kit for a starter, if you can set the sag probably. I would recommend a ridgeline. The information on here is a little fuzzy so here's what I found out. The tree straps are really nice and good quality. They weigh 10.8 ounces. The length and loops description is accurate. Weight rating 750 pounds. The hammock is good quality with very nice stitching. The hammock body length is actually 114"x78". The caribiners have no weight rating. The hammock may hold 600 pounds, but who knows when the caribiners will break. I have similar ones and they are rated to 400 pounds. Hammock weight is 17.8 ounces The bugnet is very nice, good quality, and very nice stitching. The two way zipper is very smooth. It's large enough to fit this hammock very easily. Mine came with one rope that was too short to go from tree to tree. I tried to tie it to the suspension, but the net was on the ground. Bugnet weight 15.6 ounces. I would consider the rainfly a "fair weather" rainfly. It has tie outs on the four corners as well as the middles. It can be pitched in "A" frame or diamond modes. The stakes are of a very small diameter. The seam is taped and appears waterproof. The stitching is very nice, just not enough of it. I feel the tie outs would give out in windy situations (see photo). Only 2 rows of stitching hold the tie out on. In my 6 years of hammock camping, I've blown out tarps with better stitching in the wind. Tarp measurements are 118"x118". The weight is 28.3 ounces. Total kit weight=72.5 ounces(4.5 pounds) These are the product weights right out of the box. I'm 6'4" and 200 pounds. With this hammock pitched properly, it is comfortable for me. The body is short but wide allowing for a diagonal lay. For someone just starting out, I would recommend trying this. The price is pretty good for an entire kit.

I did quite a bit research on hammocks before buying one. Either you love them or hate them, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money to find out I hated it. I also didn't want to buy something so cheap that I would hate it without giving it a fair try. Hours of reviews and videos later, I landed on this product. I'm extremely happy with the quality. This hammock is worth many times what I paid for it.Update Sep 22/2020:I slept two nights in the woods, the first night was cold (3C / 37F). I used a sleeping pad in it and was very comfortable. The next night was warm and humid (16C / 60F) and rained heavily. The netting blocks wind effectively, which was great in the cold, so I left it open and was comfortable. The tarp kept me dry. I was able to pack up all my gear, and then the tarp last, keeping all my gear dry.Hanging this properly is key to a good sleep. I highly recommend the book "The Ultimate Hang" by Derek Hansen.I still believe this hammock is great value. I'm never going back to a tent!

When i purchased this product I was honestly very skeptical about the idea of a whole hammock set for $80 when that's the price of some hammocks themselves. Boy was I very happily surprised! The quality of this gear is awesome especially for all of it you get for $80. IN this kit your getting the hammock, the suspension, and a tarp all for the price of an ENO hammock. You could basically order this and go camping and have your whole sleep kit taken care of in one little bag. The hammock itself has a built in but also removable but net that keeps out all the critters. The quality of the hammock is amazing I have even been told by a few people that it feels softer and nicer than my ENO. The suspension that comes with it is also just as good as the ENO ten footers and have the same 3 stitch daisy chain design. The tarp that comes with it comes with all the guy lines and stakes you need and is all housed in its own convenient bag. The tarp is of a light weight design but it still feels like its very durable and with keep you dry for adventures to come!So I think that this hammock is an amazing deal and of fantastic quality that cant be beat for the money! I think this setup would be perfect for someone who wants to start hammocking but not spend a lot at first. This would also be a great option to get a child and spark a new love for the outdoors.
