I love my DW drums. The quality of their drums and hardware is second to none. But, I ABHOR the stupid little holes they take upon themselves to decide I must want in my front kick drum heads. Like about anyone who mics their drums, I want one larger hole strategically placed in the front head to accommodate a mic. Cutting the larger hole in addition to their stupid tiny holes looks ridiculous.

Lovely resonance but beware you may need to adjust your technique to heel down or increase the spring tension on your kick pedal as the lack of front port makes the beater bounce if you play heel up. So the lesson is work on your technique and you'll be rewarded by beautiful, full resonance and a great beefy kick sound. Or put a front port in it but that kind of defeats the purpose.

The Fiberskyn heads are great on the bass drum and this looks really nice with the DW logo.
