Been wanting a battery grip for awhile for my canon 20d. As the camera is obsolete I doubted I could find one. This grip is awesome. It works great and makes my 20d look like a bad ass. I works very good and having the option of using aa batteries in a pinch is nice. Seller shipped promptly and it arrived quickly.

I was a little skeptical based on the price compared to actual Canon grip but I couldn't be more pleased. The grip fits perfectly on the 40D, batteries charge and hold their charge well. I can now shoot longer and not worry so much about batteries. Adding the grip looks nice and makes holding the camera easier. I liked it so much I ordered a second one (different model, this one only works up to the 50D) for my 80D.

This is the first time I've ever used a DSTE product, and I'm quite happy with it. It's quite well made, just about as good as the Canon OEM grip, and it does what it's supposed to -- plus it comes with two batteries which is a plus. It also has a AA battery holder in case your batteries die and you're in a pinch.PROS: Build quality, functionality (with a caveat), matches camera body, ability to use AA batteries, and for the price what I would call two free batteries.CON: There is no AF-ON button. For those of us who use back-button focus, this is an annoyance (the Vello version does have an AF-ON button, but it is considerably more expensive -- $65 at B&H -- and does not come with batteries).Nevertheless, I would recommend this grip to the casual shooters who don't use back-button focusing.
