I was skeptical to purchase a bit away from the “top tier” brands but wow, this works! It cored through my brick walls with ease. A good product for a great price - I’m in!

I bought this pair to cut a drain hole for a low spot in my patio, beside the screen enclosure. They cut fairly quick for approximately half and inch of depth.I would recommend stopping every 1/3”, stop, remove the fill material, and resume. I think that’s part of why the first one bent and became wedged in the hole. See above. While water is mot necessary, it does help keep the bit cool. If the bit get hot them it will be more prone to failing. See above. The one remaining bit has some life left on it and I would buy again.

Had to drill an additional hole for the sprayer on our new farmhouse sink and this did the job no problem. No chipping or cracking. We also drilled the hole for our new tub spout, right through the ceramic tiles on the wall. Again, no issue. Make sure you start at an angle so it doesn’t roll away. Once you get a little groove then slowly lower it. Go easy and let the tool do the work, you don’t need to push. And keep it wet. I had my hubby stand by with a spray bottle and squirt water at the area while I drilled. Very happy with this purchase and the price. Definitely recommend.

wow! I usually install reverse osmosis systems so I need to drill a hole in the counter for the new faucet, usually (quartz or granite). I normally buy Milwaukee or ridgid, these drills bits normally have a short lifespan a dont worth the price you pay for them. This drill bits perform better and faster and the durability is awesome! I already done aroun 8 holes in quartz with one drill bit and probably will last a handful more.

This drill bit really saved me 100s of dollars. It did the job done where I was looking to make a hole on my granite counter top. Initially I felt like it is not working as it is drilling very little for continuos 10 mins. Even after 25 mins I thought the first one lost the grading part and I started using the 2nd one. After few mins I felt like smoke and then I dipped in water. Then I realized that it didn't lost the grading part, it is from the debris created surrounding the drill. From then for every 1 min I was dipping in water to remove the debris so it made easy to drill the hole. But to drill 1" of granite it took nearly 1 hr for me.

I can't say enough about these drills. They cut through everything I needed them to. They make a smooth hole and really fast. Also, I've only used 1 drill and it's still doing the job.

Bought to make a hole for my kitchen countertop to install a faucet for my reverse osmosis. It works perfectly, phenomenal quality, great value for the money(go to home depot it’s like $40). It cut the hole with accuracy, super easy to use. Highly recommended

I had 2ea - 3 inch concrete slabs (24"x24") used as outdoor/pool small table tops that need to double as umbrella stands. Problem was getting a 2" umbrella hold all the way through the exact center. After marking diagonally and penciling the desired circle, I filled a large flat top OJ bottle with water and drilled a 1/4" hole near the top. Flipping the bottle over produced a nice water stream on the diamond bit as it cut through the cement slab like butter. Keeping the bit cool & lubricated made the drilling go super quick. Only problem was the slabs are 3" thick and the bit is a little more than half that depth. So once the bit bottomed out, I chiseled out the upper drilled out section down and drilled again, completely removing the desired circle core. The bit did this twice, being water cooled by the water in the OJ bottle, never slowed down or got dull. I'm guessing it's good for at least 2 more holes if I needed them.Highly recommended - much cheaper than the ones from big box stores that cost 3-4x what this did and 1 bit will go a long way if you use a normal drill at high speed, cool and lubricate with water and don't use hammer drill function - simple circular high speed drilling is optimum.

Bought the 1” dual pack to drill a hole in glass blocks to add lights. Have drilled 10 so far with no visible wear yet. We used a small stream of water to cool; I held the hose while husband drilled first at 45 degree angle, then gradually moving fully upright when a groove is formed. It did create some chatter on the inside but I think that could have been from using a bit too much pressure; the first ones didn’t have that issue but he took a bit longer at first. It took less than 30 seconds to drill each hole using a Dewalt cordless drill with one charge for all 10 holes. Outside edges are smooth enough not to cause cuts so we don’t need to sand them. I am painting these glass blocks and adding lights to use for decor. Happy with purchase.
