This Type "D" adapter drill is made from M42 8 percent cobalt high-speed steel and is manufactured to nas 965 Type "D" specifications. Featured with 135 Degrees heavy duty split point and surface treated for drilling hard, tough, high tensile strength materials. When drilling low tensile strength materials, this drill bit will have significantly greater tool life than the nas 965 Type "b", high-speed steel adapter drill, resulting in a much lower cost per hole.

Nice to pick this stuff up through Amazon. Building a couple airplanes and source from this supplier, but sometimes you just need one small drill bit or something and don't want to pay 3x the part value for shipping.

Excellent! I have been looking for quite some time for a three eighths diameter drill bit for my tight fit drill and finally got this one and boy how you I sure was impressed and delighted to be satisfied by this product it works for me very well
