I already had a similar cutter made by Fiskars but it only had marks on the cutting area that were 5 inches wide. As a card maker, I needed to be able to cut 6 inches wide paper/cardstock and this guillotine cutter lets you cut up to 6 1/4” wide so you can line up your paper and know you will get a straight 6” wide cut. I have been looking for a cutter that has this for awhile so I was very happy to find this one. It’s perfect for my needs. I would love it if it had an arm that you could raise to get up to 12” wide cuts but I’m not taking any stars off because it doesn’t have this. I’ve yet to find any cutter this size that has this. This timer is sharp and has a good guide. I’m really happy with this cutter and would definitely purchase again.
