I used this on my double coated mini Aussie. I wouldn't really recommend this as a daily coat spray. I put it on him before I gave him a bath to see how it would be like. It made his fur feel really wet, and kind of sticky. I didn't like it. But, since I was giving him a bath anyways, I did it to try it out. After his bath, though, and after he was dried off with an air dryer / pet dryer, I sprayed this around his body and coat and then brushed it through. It made his fur smell really sweet, and I felt like it helped keep his double coat smooth and untangled.

I don't need everything in my vicinity to have a strong scent. This detangler has a scent but it is mild enough for me. It works on our poodle, about 4 weeks into the latest haircut. I have Maltese dogs, and even though I keep most of their coats short, they sometimes get tangles in the long hair on their legs, ears, and tails. I don't like trying to work knots out with a dematting brush because that pulls their hair, so I was happy to give this spray a try - and I'm delighted that I did! This spray is simple to use and it works wonders! I just spray the affected area to get the fur wet, massage it in for a moment, and then I'm able to comb through the hair normally without causing my dogs any pain. The tangles seperate so there's no tugging or pulling needed anymore in order to get the comb through, and it leaves their hair soft and smelling nice. I love that the formula is mostly natural and free from harsh chemicals, and it actually nourishes the skin too. This is a life saver for my pups!

I used this detangler on our golden retriever and it seems to work well for the knots she seems to get all the time. The knots come out much easier and our dog does not seem to mind the spray on her coat.

After trying 3 other Douxo products (2 shampoos, 1 ear cleaner) all with great success, we thought we’d also give this detangling spray a shot too!All of the Douxo products we have used thus far exhibit an attention to clean, hypoallergenic ingredients. Absent are all the questionable ingredients you may find in other products such as parabens, dyes, artificial scents and whatnot. This product is made in France and offers reassurance that its material sourcing is safe and effective.While our dog doesn’t tend to get all that matted, this product does none-the-less have a place in our dogs hygiene routine. Our dog generally has somewhat dry skin which is unsurprisingly worse in the winter months. Therefore her coat is often dry with dandruff which requires a high velocity dryer…we use this https://amzn.to/41kAESk …to remove dander without excessively washing her coat. This spray product changes the game a bit by helping to nourish her coat and skin. A welcomed bonus is the wonderful smell that comes along with the product which I believe is coconut/vanilla.So again, in our application, we use this product as a brushing aid, odor reducer and coat conditioner, not for removing tangles. In this application the product performs 100% as desired and again we LOVE the smell of this product which is quite similar to their odor control shampoo.If you are in search of a safe, well performing product in this category, look no further. I love to support this brand and their ethos. Also, the spray bottle is very high quality and offers great coverage, they didn't cheap out there either.

I have a half shih tzu/half lhasa apso and if you're familiar with the breed, needs to be brushed every day when their fur is longer. This stuff is great for making his coat look soft and shiny (but not too greasy) and leaving it smelling nice. It helps with the tangles when I brush him and causes no irritation to his skin (which, he actually has sensitive skin and must use oatmeal shampoo during baths, so I'm very thankful for that). The bottle is a good size and will definitely last me a while. Very happy I decided to give this a try.

I purchased this and received it today, however upon my getting ready to use it the sprayer fell apart. I tried to put it together, but with a wet dog, I was unable to do so. So I ended up pouring it into my hand little by little. I wasn't happy about that. I'm sure I possibility used more than I would have, had it work properly. However I do think the product itself was good. The spray dispenser was not up to par. I'm not sure if I'll return it for an exchange, because I don't feel I should have to go out to purchase a spray bottle because this one didn't work. Too bad, because I would have given it a better star rating.
