I figured it would be a decent reseal for my vacuum pump given the price was mid range. Lasted 700 miles before leaking. The original one didn’t even leak as bad. Going back to genuine Cummins parts, forget the Amazon garbage.

I still have the OEM pump on my motor and the rear seal on this didn't fit quite tight enough and leaked immediately on startup. I'm guessing that there are slight variations in vacuum pumps to where rebuild kits aren't universal. Cummins rebuild kit is less than half the cost of this, so it makes more sense to go with that.

Main seal outside diameter was too small causing the seal to go sideways during reassembly. Tried numerous times. Save time and get genuine cummins part.
