It looks like they turned the shaft made it smaller so the pulley does not fit the shaft.

I bought this pump because my old one went out on my 87 F-250. the pictures are the aftermath of only 3 months of use the pump broke completely off leaving me with no brake control and the transmission shifts with vacuum so it was a very sketchy ride home after the fact. spend the extra money on a decent one! and after all this they want me to pay them more money to ship a replacement even though they claim to have a 1 year warranty. BUYER BEWARE this is proof to skip this product. (EDIT - i will change to a 3 star review because we finally came to an agreement i will update again depending on my experience with this new one.)

Lasted a whole week and blew apart and fragments went through my battery causing acid to leak on everything do not buy this product
