My passenger climate control on my F150 was stuck in full heat.Bought this part but was a bit skeptical because of how cheap it was.Instruction states that you need to calibrate it before using. I plugged it in and the gear went back to the same position where the old actuator was when I removed it.Finished the install and now my HVAC works perfect!

This blend door actuator fit our vehicle as specified, went right in, easy to install, and works flawlessly. This fixed the loud banging noise coming from the center of the dash whenever I tried to lower my HVAC temp below 70°. Has been installed over a month, driven daily, works great.

Put in 2011 f150 single control not two side controls. With console shift, replaced without moving console or shifter, used trim tools and without removing trim under console only top of trim then working panel side to side to remove, also need to make a tool to remove back screws on control it’s in a tight place, I used a 1/4 hex ratchet with a CUT down 1/4” hex x 5/16” 6 point socket heat glued together so can’t fall apart and loose socket, works great

Actuator door started clicking non-stop. Watched a few youtube videos and figured I would install it myself and save the crazy amount the mechanic quoted me. It was a pretty straight forward install. The back bolt was the most difficult to take off the old part and put on the new. However it got done. Works like a charm. Saved a big mechanic bill doing this myself and the part seems to be running fine with no issues. Highly recommend if you have this issue to try yourself.

After months dealing with the cracking noise coming from the dash, I decided to replace this part mostly because the shop wanted to charge an irrational amount of money compared to the price of the part. I must admit that the description does not specify if it is the one that goes right behind the radio, or by the accelerator pedal. FYI this part (604-252) fits perfectly on my 2011 F150 XL, 3.7L V6 Supercab. This was the second piece I ordered since the first one (Dorman 604-241) is the one that goes by the accelerator pedal, although the description said it fit my car (it would if I needed to replace that one!). If you want to do it yourself, look for videos online, there are plenty, but don't be scared from the ones that show you to dismantle the whole dashboard (or even the steering wheel!). In fact, as another reviewer stated, this part is slightly thicker than the original, and be prepared to shed some knuckle skin! Now I am happy, I can have cold/hot air, and best of all, without the noise!!!
