Deceptive advertising.....says it's a "kit" but it's just the bracket.Keep looking......others cost less and come with a bolt.BTW bolt for '97 Camaro is M8-1.25 x 75mm.

I got this when I replaced my battery tray. It firmly holds the battery, as long as it's positioned firmly against the side wall of the battery, and the hold-down bolt is really tightened down.

worked perfect, fit like a glove. Does not come with bolt, so your gonna have to hit the hardware store.

I bought this for my second battery set up in my 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 looks the same as the stock one and works as describedJust wish it included the bolt.

It’s doing what it is supposed to. Just wished it came with the hardware. If you need the bolt your going to have to buy it separately.

I oredered this thing based on the picture and the shape of the impressionin mycar's battery box. First of all, it was delivered in no time, it was easy to install and it fit perfectly. I could not have been happier with this battery hold down. Oh, I live in a small country town. Icalled the nearest dealer who said they dont carry this part. I called the local national chain auto parts store and was told you cant get a new one and your best bet is a junkyard. Ha! Anyway, good product that works well.
