I loved this mount at first. It was super secure in the ceiling. But, over a few months, the metal loop wore away. I used it for my heavy bag. I punched it for 15 minutes per day for 5 months.

It’s durable and once installed correctly it will hold the heavy bag with ease and kicks and punches will have no effect to the brackets durability.

So I bought this even though some of the older reviews said the screws stripped easily since even if that was the case it would be pretty simple to use some better quality screws.It seems they took the reviews to heart and the one they sent me came with very good quality screws that didn't strip whatsoever, even with the power drill. I used it to mount a 100 pound heavy bag outdoors and it's holding up as perfectly as one could hope. No signs of loosening or wear.Buy with confidence, 10/10 product.

I twisted two of the accompaning bolts off. I went to home depot and bought stainless steel bolts. No other problems after the tinker toy hardware.

I wanted to support a heavy bag between two rafters so I built a bridge out of 2x6 and some metal strapping. The hanger bolts lined up well enough with the metal strap for it not to be a problem getting everything locked down tight.
